Phenotype awareness day
Seems like everyday these girls make me feel like a proud papa. I'm going to be documenting the differences between pheonotypes so I can have something to look back on when I decide which plant will ultimately be made perpetually immortal.
As they've out grown the fan leaves I was using to LST them I decided to take it off as to compare the phenos and as you can see there is a gamit of differences.
Plant specimen #1) Looks like a good hybrid but i think it is just slightly sativa dominant, however it's leaves are very silky almost like fely to the touch and it has a fatter serration on the leaf. Also a few of the leaves appear to be bending inwards. This could just be a nutrient problem but all new growth seems strong.
Plant specimen #2) the smallest of them all this plant shows good hybridization and the leaves have a shark like serration. It looks as if this plants leaves may be curling over and into it self. But I like to be optimistic about this one as a small plant I think may do better in this environment,
Plant specimen #3) is the largest of all the plants and has the most sativa dominant traits to it however it looks like it does not like the heat, you can see the leaf serrations turning up, as I've yet to install an exhaust fan in the closet (will do this weekish) so the temps have been mid to high 80's. Sure to be the largest plant.
Plant specimen #4) is a good hybrid that I think leans more towards indica slightly. Good broad leaves and looks bushier than the sativa-er variety. Its roots are the most veracious as it is the 1st and thus far only plant that cannot be removed as roots are too massive.
Plant specimen #5) the most indica looking of the fun bunch it is also the bushiest with very little inter-nodal stretch very broad fern like leaves
To reiterate I'm growing strawberry haze from greenhouse seeds(feminized) heres the review from leafy:
"Arjan's Strawberry Haze was created by Arjan and introduced on the market in 2006. In 2005, Strawberry Haze won 1st prize at the Green House Very Important Smokers Panel.
The buds of Strawberry Haze smell of strawberries and provide a sweet taste, which is heightened when roots are given free reign in soil. It is characterized as a tall plant with long branches. It is a simple plant to grow and maintain, as it is known to be adaptable to humidity. Flowering time is approximately 10 weeks with a THC level up to 20% and CBD of 1.2%."
which is your favorite of the bunch?
