"Very conservative in your social views", like how I support equal rights for LGBT people, or equal pay for women, or social equality among racial and economic classes. What I don't support is suppression of free speech because somebody might be offended, or the idea that there are dozens of different genders, or that minorities or people of color can't be racist. You and Buck and the SJW wing of the Democratic party, the people who only seem to care about identity politics are a big part of the reason Republicans mopped the floor with Democrats this election. Millions of middle-class Democrats do not care about identity politics, they care about the economy, jobs, healthcare, etc.
Like I told someone else, all of us who frequent the politics section pretty much know where each of us sit, so rehashing reasons why with different people isn't something that interests me. We'll see what direction the Democratic leadership decides to take the party, I think if they keep pushing corporatist Democrats like Clinton, they'll lose, you don't. Buck even supports Perez for DNC chair. If they shift to a more progressive platform, they'll win. We'll see which one of us is right in a few years. I think unless Ellison is elected, that's pretty much it for the Democratic party, progressives will leave and won't come back.
