Right on dude. That’s gotta be some of the best stuff worth living for. No grandsons here but I can’t wait for my granddaughters to be old enough to go fishing with grandpa. My daughter used to love going fishing until she grew up :-(

Maybe they will love it too and if not they are sure to love the boat ride . Yeah man it ain’t lost on me how good we have it for one more week.

@raratt we’re fishing bullards bar tomorrow morning for them kokes.
Been slowly getting the USS Trollitup pontoon boat ready for battle after sitting so long. New canopy, 3 new deep cycle batteries etc. Still need to reupholster many things because of the ember burns but enough waiting. I wish Whiskeytown wasn’t so far away now but they got the big ol kokes in there and I miss that place. Soon. Not that good of reports coming out of Oroville for the landlocked kings so maiden trip is kokes at BB.

Might be smoky up there though. Limit is 10, I thought it was 5 before. 14" is a big one up there.

Often one of the last things we’ll frame out is around columns that weren’t buried in wall lines. First thing you gotta do is chip away fireproofing at the base of the columns to find the snap lines. Sometimes it was I who had snapped those lines usually right after they pour that floor.
i can’t begin to tell you how many times I go chopping away at that fireproofing, on my knees, and smell old piss from some rotten motherfucker who thinks it’s cool to piss on fireproofed columns. Fucked up thing is it was probably some asshole who worked for my shop. Framer? Hanger? Or maybe the fireproofers/plasterers. Bastards.

Yeah buddy… the stuff I’ve seen come out of plumbing rough-ins will make you whoop a fella….well after you get through puking , then you can whoop a fella. Lol. And of course no one ever wants to take the lid off of an supposedly empty bucket.:spew::spew::spew:
