Yeah but I haven’t fished for them and to be honest I didn’t think about it. The last time I was floundering it was with a friend that passed away probably 25 years ago now. He had a place on Fort Morgan Al which is a five star fort over looking one side of the entrance to Mobile Bay . You can walk for miles on the sound side to gig for flounder… bull shark encounters are a real possibility. Fort Morgan is a 26 mile long thin strip of sand with good pompano fishing and whiting, I’ve trolled up and down from 1-5 miles off shore hundred’s of times when I had a Bay Liner with a t-top , I used to take my kids for day long trips… those were the good ol’ days before they grew up and moved away.

yo bb , this coming season, these bigger reds are gunna be catch and realease, now you can keep 2 over 27 inches with 5 fish limit.

i usuaully realease these size reds, but my grandson wants to cook for sunday dinner,

the only reason i kept 2, the other one was 32 inches,

"oh btw pa, just fillet them before you drop them off." grandsons,,got to love them

My grandkids call me pa as well. I read today that Florida is going to have 120 day red snapper season…. that bottom fishing trip just got a little more promising.

Went for Paddle fish & small mouth on Tuesday, kept this one @ 45lb & released a bunch of Smallies with this one being the best at around 3.5lb.

I went fishing yesterday, from 6-12 am . I caught 30 catfish from 2-7 pounds. I gave 10 to some random guy as well as some bait I had left gave 10 to one neighbor and 10 to another. Last night I could smell fish frying. I’ve always heard fences make for good neighbors I don’t if that’s true but I know free food makes for great neighbors .
