The sponsors can tally their losses based on being associated with these guys and then sue for that said amount.

Example: sales have gone down by 500K this quarter due to being associated with these guys names.

These guys have won over 303k this year through tournaments. There is no plausible way to prove they cheated on any previous tournaments. With that said this particular tournament they got caught in would be attempted grand larceny as the amount was about 45k they were going to win.

So not only on a criminal scale are they screwed but the civil suits will be on another level.

I'm always on the look out for minnow pattern rapalas, the Finnish minnows are my favorite namely blk & silver and gold & silver floaters.

Have you tried tying mylar tube minnows? Some crazy stuff to be tied with modern craft materials.

Love Rappalas. Floating. Dying shit entices bites. And by Finnish I assume originals. Not the Swedish Pimple jig you bring to mind.

Yes it amazing the stuff that's available these days I've use mylar tubing for what I call snakes, wadingtons and tube flies.
I've got flies tied with growtight heavy duty mylar, they work well or as well as any other lol...

And are you aware that you can add bladders made from tubing or foam?

I lost my mind the first time I walked into a 5&10 store with craft supplies. I had a grocery, post office, gas station and 3 bars for tying supplies in my youth.

I have duplicates of my Orvis fly pattern books if of interest?

Yeah I've a few sra trout flies tied with deer hair and have a foam head, the idea is to pull them quickly across the top of the water to stir up a take but it's usually a last ditch attempt.

However in trout fishing i use a lot of foam on emergers, daddies, fabs and booby,s lol.

A booby is just a pair of foam eyes with a marabou body, fished from a sinking line and figure 8 retrieve its damn good?

Or a emerger on the point fly with nymphs on the droppers fished with floating line keeps it in the surface area.

I'm not familiar with the Orvis books but I expect they'll be decent, in general Orvis make good gear, speaking of which i liked your reel that was in the picture with your blue line rod it's a nice bit of kit.

I grew up poor with Wright and McGill, Fenwick and Zebco. I graduated to the Loop and Orvis for its sheer comfort of use. Is the finger on the line that hooks the fish. And I wet nymph with a fly/ spincast for trout. I'm not a purist. Just adaptive predator.

Love to share my tricks with you. As well as my dust repository of books and tying box. LOL.

"Adaptive predator" lol i like that one it also describes me, i also fish with whatever I'm most likely to catch fish with.

I forgot to ask if you've heard of or seen Oliver Edwards fly tying?
When I started i got his master class DVD it's really good.
