I guess I will find out if this hash smuggling episode is worth watching tonight. http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/drugs-inc/episodes/hash/
Press them some more my friend, they will get better. You really want to see a full "fusion" of the trichomes, since your quality looks top the little cracks that I see on the Cannoli means that you can push your press further.View attachment 2748225I cant decide what I like better so for now I make a little of both, presses and grated. Works out good because I always end up with small pieces that wont grate, so I let them dry a few days longer, then press into cannoli. Left one is a mix of sour strains and the right is deadhead/Tahoe mix. Bottom is the 45 from both.
hey frenchy, awesome shit bro. have you ever tried Matt Rize's IWE? I'm just curious to see how yours stacks up against his. If you haven't, I'm sure Subby tha God would be able to shed some light.
There is a clip on sieving in Morocco that's pretty cool, it will give you a good idea of the process, actually one type since every family seems to have their own ways.I guess I will find out if this hash smuggling episode is worth watching tonight. http://channel.nationalgeographic.com/channel/drugs-inc/episodes/hash/
All I know is yours...............I'll keep it up...no worries........Keep it comin frenchy! Gotta soak up all this great info!
I do that most morning with my coffee, but not my Cannoli, the lower quality trichomes only.........Frenchy, have you ever eaten your Cannoli? I was talking to this Old School Sixties Radical Cat the other night. He was talking about eating hash back in the sixties. He was very excited to tell me how mind blowing the experience was; so that made me wonder how you feel about it? Also in your travels\experiences have you come across ppl eating much hash straight up? Sounds Pretty Amazing!!
Take a very good look at Morocco, This is quite a treat, enjoy the trip.......

DO NOT BE AFRAID to press, and repress and some more when you use a heat of approx.220F, should last around 20 minutes.
Try a little chunk in your hand and see how far you can have the hand press last and how much gain in smell you will get, then adapt it to the rest of the Cannoli.
Working the trichomes by hand when you have never pressed hash is the way to learn and the best way to judge quality
Since the technique is simple, the details are really important and make all the difference. You will not regret the extra work....Thanks frenchy. I did only press for less than 10 minutes. I appreciate your attention to detail. I will put your advice into practice.
Somewhere around 1,000,000 to 500,000 years ago is my guess.Man cannabis has some roots! I love it!

If you work with stickier material, you better use gloves. You can also press it with a bottle of boiling water in plastic.
I am asking everybody to do it by hand a few times just so that you really get the feel of the changes happening with all senses before using only your eyes. Also a good think to do before pressing a new strain, just so you get to know each other in a more intimate way.

Just wondering, have you ever checked the water with a thermometer to see how cold the water is? Just to give me an idea of how cold I want the water to be.
No I never have, if you can't stand it very long with gloves the water is plenty cold enough. As long as there is ice floating (you have to listen to your machine as well) the water is ice cold.Just wondering, have you ever checked the water with a thermometer to see how cold the water is? Just to give me an idea of how cold I want the water to be.
