No worries, was hoping you'd chime in.......I know you are experienced and there is a good chance that you've done both the bufo toad and the kambo frog.
The experience you described of "ultimate reality" and "profound change" sounds like the 5 MeO experience. What I am wondering, do you have experience with both the bufo toad and synthetic 5 - MeO? And if you do, did you personally notice the difference?

I agree through meditation, prayer, etc., which requires effort/time/skill, it is possible to connect to ultimate reality. However, in a society where most barely have enough time to wipe their ass, let alone get proper sleep, this is not practical for everyone. Therefore, psychedelics play, like they always have, an important role in connecting humans to higher dimensions and glimpsing ultimate reality.
Imagine if it was mandatory that all politicians were required to experience a mystical dose of mushrooms before being eligible......we probably would be living in a better society.
IMO and others, psychedelics, and mushrooms in particular, are a vehicle for man's next quantum leap.
