KK just checking, and I didn't see the post on age before I posted that, just listen to widow they are alittle young for nutes, good rule of thumb is 3 weeks then start nutes.. And if you are doing SOG then you would just start nutes during flowering because you usually start flowering around 3-4 weeks..
 
hey special do me a favor an try this an tell me what ya think ina couple weeks....you must use r/o water for this to work correctly....you do have nute burn...flush your plants today an water normal for a week....next week start the nutes but use 5mlmicro 10ml bloom no grow....none....mix the micro first then the bloom...feed this solution lightly 2x a week....this will not only keep your plants from going defecint it keeps the ph at the excat level you want.....peace az

I would say that at 5 weeks go to the General Grow and at 6/7 weeks you can go to the Vegetative Growth Stage. But basically you want to slowing increase your plant's nutrients.

I tend to veg for a lot longer than most people, but just bear in mind that these plants grow fast and each stage (until you reach flowering) will only last a week or two at the most.

When growing from seeds, it's best to let your plants mature to 2 months old or older before flowering. Just thought I'd throw that in, being that it is the logical next question... :mrgreen:

By the way, would you recomend flushing with r/o water for one week, doing this feeding for two weeks, then switching to gen grow?
 
nope dont use grow at all....its a waste....when you swtich to flower use 8ml micro 16ml bloom per gallen still no grow an make sure to use r/o water an mix the micro first....peace az
 
well the people want cheap grows...i'll give them cheap grows....this way they can save their money an scrap those FUCKIN CFLS an get some good hid lighting...lol...not to sway to off topic there....i will shows grows done with 100%perlite ina bucket/tray done with gh nutes ran on the system i speak of i will show the ease an simpleness of this system...i will not ph check water or nute feed to show excatly how well this system does work....peace az
 
I'm with you AZ that the better the equipment the better the grow, that why after my first grow it's time for a 400watt HPS I currrently use a 250 but I'm out of money lol

That's a great idea with showing them how to save money and put it towards lights. There was a thread that I stummbled on last night, that asked how much everyone has spent on supplies so far this year. Well I didn't even post cause, I already had lights, I already had plenty of GH (cause I buy to 2.5 gal size) and all the normal supplies associated with a grow. So the only things I've spent money on has been perlite, silica blast and Hygrozyme for a total of about $65.00 maybe $70.00 (oh yeah, forgot about seeds $80.00) so a total of maybe $150.00 - I would have felt bad throwing that in their faces... lol

There were some people posting that said they'd spent $500.00 - $1000.00 for all their crap!!! And some are using CFLs - And that's just so far this year...

what is the largest size pot any1 ever tried with this himpy pot? i saw a 5 Gal post, but has any1 tries like the 17 gal rubbermaid storage tubs, with 1 plant at each end, 2 total in it? or would you think like a 7 GL or 10 GL MINI trash can type pot would work better? i am looking for maximum yield per plant, cuz of the low number plants we can grow. i think i can go up to 30, but with 5 mothers, that leaves me 10 in clone/veg room, and 15 staged to harvest in stages of 3 weeks apart. or, 5 every 3 weeks. this will be broke up between 4 med card users in cali, and i will be doing all the work, and smoke the lions share, but my GF is too sick to smoke,and never has, so alot will go into goodies/cookies for her. and then my MOM, and son each has their cards,er,hands out, and i want to be able to sell some back to the club to cover the electric cost. i am thinking a 6x12 main flowering room, with 10 in it, and 8 600 HPS, with a "pre"flower room,6x6 with 3 600's for the 5 starting to get ready to take the place of the 5 coming out in 3 weeks, this way the plants will be close in size. i know, a few years ago, me and my brother used 20 Gl pots,and grew like 12 Oz per plant, but the pots was bulky, and it took forever to veg them big enough to get that big. the way you all talk about the hempy pots, it should increase the Veg growth.
 
ya theres a pic round page 10 or so where i posted a pic from a friends grow in a 20 gal tub....an this growth does surpass soil growth an is comparble to dwc style growth....peace az
