It was for reference - this Malawi picture doesn't show the secondary node growth clearly that would become the new mains.

After it is topped it would look like this though:




Then when the new tips have grown out enough - top again and you can remove the bottom node growth for clones:

I just noticed your are growing from clones. That procedure is slightly different. You don't have symmetric nodes on clone so you need to pick two nodes that are close to the base and close to each other. Top above them and bend the higher node branch down to the same height as the lower node. Now the procedure from here is basically the same. Top each node to get 4, then 8, then 16...

I agree w u on the soil....I whipped up a little half ass batch w abt half the ingredients and 60days in ive not fed my plant once n shes green and strong top to bottom....subs super soil recipe is awesome tho and though I may not agree w everything he says and basically think hes a grand hustler whos positioned himself in the right places at the right times and figured out a way to work this weed shit legally n get rich off of it....u cant knock him for that...ud do the same if u could n so would I...its all advertising and marketing...its a game...and he plays it well....hate him or love him the mans like a rock star in the weed world and im sure he made more money today selling tga gear than u or I will make this whole year...together...ha....im sure he could care less what any of us think as long as he wakes up tommorow n sees all them zeros n digits in his bank account.

I was about ready to open a can for you claiming Subcools only in this for the $ factor. He has stated hes this very claim on a few of his weed nerd shows that instead of enjoying the profits made from TGA genetics, he prefers to reinvest back into his setups. (Plus him openly admitting hes not rich from all the TGA sales)

But your spot on about Sub being a rockstar in the weed world because of what hes achieved! And add the knowledge he offers free to all who watch the weed nerd and his school of dank talks.

My third grow is definitely going to be main-lined. I'm thinking 4x Dutch Passion White Widow (fem seed) in 4x4, 4/8 colas each, under 400W HPS and Area 51 160W LED. 5gal coco smart pots?

So... Has anyone ever done a 64 headed ML? Because I'm at 1 month of veg and I've got a 16 now and I got a full month and 5 days left before the box has room for it. IDK if that is enough time for 64 but the way this thing goes I'm thinkin 64.

If you do bro, please post some pics. I think I could speak for quite a few people in saying I would love to see that. I have some 8 pointers now(1 six pointer that I broke a branch off of) going for 16 the next cut, but I don't have room for anything larger than that unfortunately. I love to see people's success with this method. The results are just spectacular! Good luck, Good grow, Be safe, out.

Just wanted to show one of my main lined four headed Bubba 76's in a 2 gallon pot using super soil (my first run with super soil) water only. Its day 22 of flowering and the plants are super healthy showing no deficiencies at all. I'm really loving the super soil so far, can't beat just having to add water strait from the tap and no ph or ppm meter.
