You may want to look for larvae in the buds, not sure just what I would do!

I sprayed the area with a bit of spinosad, hopefully that will clear anything that was left

Dropped my fan on top of my plant, snapped one of the mains in two places pretty bad. I taped it up immediately and haven't seen any wilting...

@citeh, you can super crop those tops, that are shooting up to even the canopy out. just crush the stem slightly, slightly and bend it over. It will straighten up slowly over the next few days and your canopy will be fairly even again.

Quick question for yas... may have been answered but 249 pages is a lot of reading.
Why does it have to be topped to the 3rd node? Is this imparitive for this to work? I accidentally topped to the second, and it's looking like the first would be a better choice honestly.

I believe that it is for root development.
I have used the first node before but only after i grew to the 5th node then I decided the first node was the best on to start at.

Great, thanks... roots are great, I transplanted a week ago and it took off. It had 6 nodes. Thanks for the reply!!

I have made many changes to this method to improve my personal results.

It makes sense to read your plants and make adjustments that best suit your growing conditions.

I like to have a well defined manifold and some good spacing between my tops. This is much esier to obtain when you are growing sativa dominant plants. With shorter plants it takes some creativity!
