The Original 16oz Party Cup Comp

Alrighty then, into the soil with little cracked tails, lets grow some weed in a cup :mrgreen:

Setup an old cabinet I hadn't fired up for a while. Just running a fan with passive intake & exhaust for now. Could get hot so reserving the right to add some active intake if @The Dawg allows it

Seeds are 5x regs of my Blue Ripper BX1, they're F2's back-crossed to an F1 male. Blueberry x JTR is the original cross.

Light is a Chinese Ali Express 70w "COB" (strip) light, 3000k, 100lm/w that cost me about $40, kick-ass it's not but will have to do.

Cups are numbered, measured the 3/16" holes and got pics of the package, don't think I missed anything...

OK, here I am with my entry pics:

One hole, 1/4" diameter.

Here are all five cups. Waiting to break ground. They are sitting on a run-off tray. If that's not allowed it can be removed.

Five regular seeds, they are F2 Black Gorilla backcross (BG x BG). They are in soil, no "germination process" to speak of just soaked them in water (on Wednesday) till they sank, then into the soil they went. None of them has broke ground yet.

Game on MFers. After seeing @GroErr dropping his beautiful pollen chunks, I said why the hell not. So after looking through my homemade beans I have decided on these five contestants to run in the Original 16oz Grow Comp. All five seeds are in paper towels and will be placed into their cups after they crack.

1 Tangerine Power X WCCS (reg)
1 Candy Cap X Silver Tip X Lemon Alien Dawg (reg)
3 Hickok Haze X Trilogy (fems)

They will be grown in Roots Organic soil along side a regiment of Emerald Harvest nutrients. I will be using 240 watts of Vero 29s as my light source.

I will post pictures of my cups complete with packaging and measurements when I plant my seeds.

I have 2 reg beans left that I'm not using. herm pollinated my 2 females (my mistake), and I've been just running those offspring beans ever since. Had 6 females from those so far. Have 6 more brewing now.
