The Torrents Thread

Hey, look, an old torrent thread from almost a year ago. Good. I wont have to start one.

So. Anyone here familiar with torrents and the current uploads? I absolutely, 100%, get everything from torrents. I'm a member of several private sites, no piratebay bullshit for me.

Anyway... A lot of R5 uploads of The Raven & Chernobyl Diaries recently. Video is pretty good (for now) but the audio is downright shit. Bad cam audio, not even line. Has anyone found a copy with good audio yet?
 
I use Vuze as my downloader and piratebay as my source. I always have quick downloads. However I'm also getting up to 20Mbps. :hump:

I only use the private sites because it keeps the ignorant riff raff away and they moderate their torrents so you know when you d/l something you aren't getting a renamed "one flew over the coo coos nest" labeled as Men in Black 3 or some shit. hehe. Of course the flip side is that we have ratios. God forbid anyone seeds back! lol. I can u/l at 30Mbps so It only takes me like 40 seconds to reseed a 700Mb file so i dont mind.

So, Any feedback on those movies? There are like 10 releases of each, All the same shit quality.

Wait, did I read that correctly? Your UPLOAD speed is 30Mbps?Holy shit. What is your setup?
 
Yup. Just switched over to Verizon Fios. That's it. Previously I could only u/l @ 60Kbps! hahaha

^^^Of course I do the test and it's only showing just above 22Mpds now. So, I'm a liar. lol.

ive never had a problem with downloading on pirate bay its really clean actually of course with any torrent read thre comments, ok what movies are you talking about ive probably seen them, im a huge movie buff
 
I use utorrent and max out at 2.5mb/s. Some of my friends only get around 800kb/s. I have a 22mb/s internet connection and use a vpn which brings it down to about 20mb/s when it's all said and done.

i used to have roughly around 30 when i was living on my own but my mom wont pay for good internet, (had to move back in because i went to college damn!) anyways it took me a month to convince her to get highspeed internet she mostly uses the computer for facebook and email i use it for tons of shit plus world of warcraft so lol

I was looking at the current releases of Chernobyl Diaries & The Raven. There are some kickass r5's floating around out there that look great but sound like Dick Clark after the dentist. I was curious if anyone has found a copy with good audio? Shit, I'll take Line audio right now. heh.

I've been there. Me and gf contact comcast whenever they are about to raise our bill, downgrade our service the update it the next day to get a lower rate. :lol:

Jeez, WoW. I used to run 40man AQ's with 56k! It ran fine. That game runs mostly server side anyway.
Good Times. my poor mage is just rotting away with like half a million gold just sitting around across several chars. Time well spent!
