Hey bud thanks for this, that situation had crossed my mind, I think it makes sense and maybe or probably made worse by using small pots and 24hrs light?I've had this happen a few times and I allways attributed it to me taking away nutrients from the plant, the older leaves are the least efficient at photosynthesis and eventually just act as water and nutrient stores for the more efficient faster growing new leaves, when the new stuff needs food or water it's far easier for them to grab it from an older leaf where it's allready been metabolised, when we remove them we force the plant to get its food from the root zone which can take abit longer than if it were taking it directly from other parts of the plant. Kind of like us realising we're hungry and going to a fully stocked fridge vs having to go to the shops. Haha weird analogy but i find it fitting. I may be way off but there's my 2 pence dog
An observation I've made a number of times now is roots pouring out the bottom of the pots when letting them grow on then after I trim them back heavily the new white roots die back.
Afaik I've ruled out ec/ph/cal/mag so
I've been looking in the wrong place I'll be paying attention to it now.
I raised the light a few days back after a 6hr dark period so I'll see what happened with that, as yet I can't call either way?
