Really? Haha. That's where I am. In the valley. Hey, I have a question. My lights, I wasn't thinking properly about the light timing, so right now is my lights off, and as you know its broad daylight outside. But I was wondering if there was some way I could switch it around, so night would be the dark and day would be the bright? Any advice? I was thinking about switching it after the plant sprouted, and grew about 2 inches, instead of before it even breaks surface, but I have no idea? :wall:

the seeds haven't sprouted yet? Go ahead and change it NOW, before they pop! If you wait until after they sprout, they are going to start growing on your current light cycle, off during the day is useless during the winter time! If they have already sprouted, what is the light cycle?
 
One seed cracked, and I planted it last night around 5. It hasn't hit surface, but I thought it needed to have light on it before it even broke the dirt? I just turned the lights back on, but do they need to be on even before it hits the dirt?
 
you can keep the light on for up to 24 hrs a day at first, with no problem. So don't worry about it. Its not a big deal until your getting ready to flower.
 
Alright, that's what I like to hear. :D Haha. I was thinking about going out and buying 2 100 watter Cfl's, and use the 2 23's I have. Would that be decent for 1 or 2 plants?

It might only be one. The other seed hasn't cracked yet, but last time I checked was 5 PM yesterday. Hopefully it has cracked already, but I'm going to let it sit for a while still, and I'll check it later. I had a question about nutes, but I'll have to take a picture of what I'm talking about so I'll do it later, if you wouldn't mind helping.
 
I would never have a problem with helping.... though I would rather keep more general discussion things like that in my other journal thats in my signature. I am trying to keep this journal as on topic as possible.

Since there are two of each of the GDP and the SSDNL, I have devicided to name all five of the plants after RIU users... if its ok with you guys... which plant would you want your name on?
