The hatred for the rebel flag seemed to happen overnight. I don't remember everyone screaming that the Dukes of Hazzard was about racism, but the movie part was funny where they took all that shit for the General Lee. It showed how much times change.

This looks like a credible news story in a credible newspaper that was written by a black journalist. I have no problem at all with this story. It was effective and well-written.

However, I wonder how an equally credible story written by a white journalist about the looting in Ferguson would have been received.
