I think your right , I just stopped mine 4 days into 12/12 , my thoughts was I take one bud off 2 replace it in 3 weeks then I times that extra bud by 15 tops ......you don't think it will work ??....maybe I should put her back to 24 Veg ?

Stretching till end of 3rd week Flower , 4th Week till end is all into the Buds

You can top, I could care less it's not me that will be doing another grow because I didn't produce.

I've not got the luxury of 30 years experience but yes I've had fantastic results topping in early flower, I'd need to check to be absolutely sure but week 3-4.

Week 10 through 11 is certainly the best time not doubt, I,d run out of height I had no option with one plant and a couple of other shoots, at the end idk about the couple of other shoots I didn't pay that much attention but one that I hammered yielded roughly 2x the 7 others, that could be for whatever reason idk nor pretend to.

I've not got the balls to try again unnecessarily and doing a branch or two didn't have the same affect.

I seem to recall taking out the growing tip early flower giving you two buds of approx half the height of regular top, it's handy for limited head room.

Your right I don't know what I was thinking , She has only been 12/12 for 4 days, I Butchered her and throwing back to 24 or 21/3 , I did this one other time and had no problem she went back Vegetation. I was just reading a bunch of posts on all these sites and it's conflicting , I think it's definitely ok 2 keep super cropping but the topping in flower I agree , 2 weeks is 2 short

I'd leave them alone. I wouldn't be switching back and forth.

I found a couple of buds that had the growing tip removed for flowering.

I'd say it gives approx the same weight with approx half of the height of one not tipped.

I did see a video once on backbuilding. You snip the very top of each bud to force the bud to get a little rounder.

Once the stretching has started, topping shouldn't be done. It can only slow the plant.

What about tipping 1 week before pistils appear? I did I t by accident as I didn't know it was about to flower. But I only did the lower branches and left the top

Ummm why?? Topping the tallest stalk is how the lowers catch up to be potential tops. Start googling “Supercropping”

I have super cropped it and its tied down all the branches we're taller then the main stem so I topped them. Then one week after pistils started to appear. It's It's sativa strain
