3. Bugs. My shed is outside with a door that opens to the outside, bugs get in when I go in. But importing aphids by bringing in an outside plant was stupid. While fighting the aphids I did not realize the stinking white flies were going through their 5 larvae stages. And with both aphids and white flies, the mold came back. Holy Crap. So, everything out of the flower room, dump the soil, start over with cleaned and cleaned room, use yellow sticky traps, IPM with foliar, coconut water, aloe vera, silica, and clean again and again.
4. Seedlings are struggling, when up potted they show signs of PH issues, yellow tips on leaves. What the heck. This is new soil, thought I would go with Coots mix, which included Gypsum in mineral mix, 1 cup per cubic foot, 1 cup Oyster Shell Flower and two cups basalt rock dust. And I bought Fertel kelp, a big bag, a feed kelp. Other amendments were 1/2 cup each kelp, crustacean shell, neem/Karanja. Anyway, found some nice organic Garden Gypsum and added a cup the the 7 gallons. Plants were not doing well to begin with and had a hard time finishing. Turns out the Gypsum was 100% water soluble, so I am sure that messed up soil and the kelp - fungicide?
5. Little light on air conditioner got turned on and flower directly in front started to throw male nanners. Will it ever end.
New soil, fixed gypsum problem, new Norwegian kelp meal and things are looking better already. Hopefully optimistic with a number of different girls in the flower shed outside and some in the tent now that I am going to flip.
Put both types of light in veg tent and flower shed, a 315 cmh and 400 watt Timber cobs. Hope that lessens stress. Trimming up more bottom growth for same reason.
Bugs have been under control so far with no mold for some time. Night temps above 68.
Seedling mix looked good and here is first set of new soil grow below.
