Watered the pots with the leftover nutrient mix from yesterday. They don't seem to be drying out as quick now. The plants all seem to be extremely happy, even after that defoliation work yesterday.
I decided tomorrow I'm not going to feed them at all. They've been slow to drink so I want to see how they do with a day off. Today's nutrients 2 tsp CalMag, 2 light tsp Mega Crop, 1 tsp Bud Explosion. Came in at a total of 1.68 EC.
The Auto Tangerine haven't done much so far. The small one on the left was blown over from the wind outside yesterday and i reset it and compressed some coco around the base for support.
Skipping any feeding today. They still have a ring of moisture even on the top soil. I'm sure they'll all be very thirsty tomorrow for feeding!
Messed around with live focus mode on the camera phone settings. Pretty awesome photos but hard to focus everything in a broad shot.
I think I'm going to continue with watering every other day again for now. Even with the extra day off from feeding the plants looked happy. No signs of wilting and the leaves still praying to the lights. Nutrient mix 1 tsp CalMag, 2 light tsp of Mega Crop, 1.5 tsp of Bud Explosion. Result was 1.71 EC and fed that.
The Auto Tangerine duo seems to be doing alright so far. I did give them a full watering the other day, and it's probably going to be at least 2-3 days before they need more. They had a .4 EC watering with CalMag. Looks like starting Monday morning they can go outside full time without freezing at night.
The rest of the girls are just flowering away. Snapped these two last night at lights out.
I feel like CG2 did some steroids last night or something, the main colas just seem huge. To imagine they have another month to go! Same amount of nutrients as last feed. 1 tsp CalMag, 2 light tsp of Mega Crop, 1.5 tsp of Bud Explosion. Came out around 1.82 EC so I added some water to back it down to a final level of 1.75 EC. Didn't even bother to pH test it, it comes out 5.9-6.0 every single time without fail.
I noticed some interveinal yellowing on OG2 mostly but could spot some on CG2 top fan leaves near the massive buds. Took a coco pH reading with the Bluelabs soil pH pen and it was just outside the low range for hydro at 5.4 pH. I decided to up the CalMag and the pH of this feed. Probably close to 4 tsp of CalMag (was 3 and a bunch spilled in), 2 light tsp Mega Crop, 1 tsp Bud Explosion. Watered it down to 1.73 EC and fed them.
Can't believe it's almost already 3 months into this grow. Sometimes it seems like time stands still and other you blink and a year goes by, this morning feels like the latter. Things are going well so far. Glad I got that picture last night at lights out. I can see the difference in bud size even after only a few days. Only a month to go...
The Auto Tangerine duo I feel are still small but I know they are establishing a root system still. They were due for a watering so I mixed up Mega Crop into my 1 gal watering jug. About 1/16 of a tsp was about .5 EC into almost the a whole gallon of water. Watered to a bit of run off and we'll see how they do. I noticed that one of them had roots starting to approach the bottom of the container. Yes they are auto flowers. Yes I'm going to transplant them into their final containers when ready. Yes I know most people say to plant them in their final pots to start. Plan was to move them outside, but I've been slacking at getting them time outside in the sun to harden them off. Weather hasn't been the best but coming into June it should start to be much better.
