no shit rusty. Its all bad.Only suckers will vote yes b/c before you know it nobody will be able to grow.If you do they'll come after you for money you owe them.Watch n see.It is just about spelled out already.
How does a yes vote stop me from growing? A no vote hasn't stopped me in the past. Private home cultivation is where it's at. The big players are going to be there with inherent risks regardless. If it were made fully federally legal tomorrow I still wouldn't start flappin' my lips about what I have or don't have. I'm sure it wouldn't change your privacy would it? It would be nice to have a more accepted cultural shift so someone smoking ganja responsibly isn't looked down upon while guy slammin' cheap domestic beer like it's his job at the bar on Sunday and driving home after the game is ok. They're also smoothing out some of the sentencing disparities with this move. That's a good thing.

No matter the subject, whether gun control, or cannabis rights (lol), it's our jobs to let the bastards know how we feel.

Oh please.. if thats the case, how will things be any worse? If you're growing illegally, youre not gonna stop because of new regulations
yeah, i don't get that line of thinking either.. every single person who grows now is doing so against federal law and can be arrested at any time.. if they make weed legal on the federal level, but say you can't grow your own, aren't the same people still going to be breaking the law to do as they please??

I dont think theyll ever say you cant grow your own as much as there will be ridiculous taxes. look at tobacco. the gov will just try to counteract any profit you can make with higher taxes. keep it at the state levels plz and ty

look at it this way, it's getting tougher to get a jury together that will convict someone who's growing MJ for their own use
put together some kind of pseudo state/corporate MMJ monopoly, and good luck finding juries with a chance of conviction
you will get to the tipping point where the average joe who's been charged won't make deals, they'll take it to jury trial
and the numbers would be overwhelming, almost all current MJ convictions are through plea deals

Taxes for pulling a plant out of the ground?
I'll tell you what, to show how patriotic I am, I'll pay the same amount as Big Oil pays on a barrel of crude pulled from Federal Lands.

im saying what theyll " try " to enact. in the end . the underground market runs cannabis. theres no way to ever eliminate it. but yes taxes is exactly what theyd enact. and you can get as patriotic as you please friend and I applaud you for such but the US fed , as well as the DEA are not a bear I tend to try to poke. But i get what youre saying. My patriotism only revolves around my guns . otherwise just blend in and do as you please :)

I'm not jumping up & down here in good old Nebraska. I'm pretty much stuck here until my 90 yr. old parents are gone. I moved back here to care for them and wouldn't have it any other way. I grow and everyone I care about ( parents, wife kids and grandkids,as well as life long friends, know it. They also know that all three of my docs have told me that " you gotta do what you gotta do", I was on marinol for years on a grant, but now at 4 10 mg pills a day I can't afford the $1200. Bucks a month. The politicians here are so afraid that they might lose votes, or re-election if they introduce anything Controversial. Than God we passed term limits and our state senators are actually getting younger. Maybe before this baby boomer croaks, I will be able to have my needed medicine without being a criminal. I'll never give up hope, or weed !!!! Peace & be kind

Does anyone with more time than me want to dig a few things up? I know they exist, but I have work to get done and can't spend all day searching for stuff.

1. When obama came out stating that marijuana was not his priority and that the feds were going to lay off, especially for legal states where everyone is following the law

2. All the raids and crack downs that happened after #1

I predict the same thing here.
Most recently armored truck and security companies have been warned about associating with anything marijuana related. Federal forfeiture laws are criminal. Completely.
