that is a damn shame..why not target bars where people get fucked up and drive drunk? such a retarded government...they are too stupid to see legalize it 100% anything less is a slap in the face
Yeah, they have parking lots at bars. For what? Cars. So dickheads can get trashed legally and take off driving.............. and t-bone a mom and her kid that was too scared to stay the night at grandmas. I have 5 alcoholics in my immediate family and a seemingly infinite amount in my neighborhood, and I can tell you alcohol should be and should have been illegal for years if they're going to target something to ban.

True that brother... Compare deaths caused by each, then tell me what is more dangerous.

brewing beer and whiskey was too easy for people so the government could not make any money so they taxed it, just like they should do with marijuana..alcohol and tobacco kill tens of thousands a year in this country but they come down on weed, that is just plain retarded almost like bombing iraq after 911 when most of the terrorists were saudi arabian and syrian and none were iraqi

Prescription drugs, alcohol and tobacco = thousands of deaths.
Marijuana hasn't killed anyone.
I think the voters should get a petition together and put it to vote for politicians to be drug tested randomly, I find it very hypocritical that they don't have to get tested to run the country but a factory worker has to get tested to package screws. This is our country not theirs, they are using scare tactics to make us conform. IS THIS A DEMOCRACY OR ANARCHY? Any politician like Bill should pay dearly for ignoring the will of the people, 63% of the vote carries power vote them out or have them removed, the shit going on in this government has the whole world laughing at us.

I wonder if excepting donations will work, what's to stop a prosecutor from calling a donation for costs and time payment for a controlled substance?
to me though - this is how the law read in the first place. it never distinguishes between a patient signed under the caregiver or any other patient in 4(e) - it just states a qualifying registered patient. and that the transfer between them does not constitute a sale. the appeals court decision is about sales... well guess what it isn't a sale.

So when are you guys going to get that bitching about how hypocritical society is and howit should be common sense. We are the outsiders we are not in power so it doesn't matter how clear it is to us cause were stupid stoner fucks in the eyes of the people that are out of the know. Alcohol cannot be produced on a scale that people can make copious amounts and then sell them to the masses. Yes there is moonshine but any serious person looking to make money is going to just go the legal route because there business will thrive a lot more meaning there isn't a chance you run into a bad batch of alcohol it's "regulated" by the government. Pot obviously is not so with out that to fall back on when the majority of people outside of our community see operations that get busted just like the one in Detroit yesterday they see dirty criminals. CEOs of alcohol companies are seen as business men, most people who run even the most legal grow op are seen as a criminal. Even though that ceo probably has a bandwagon of people that say he is a criminal his business is supported in popular society so it doesn't matter ( they have not been criminals in the governments eyes since the end of prohibition). It's not hard to see why a uneducated person would be hesitant when seeing marijuana being called a medicine. It's not a exact dosage pill, it doesn't come from some company that people find comfort in buying from because it's a big corporation so they must be right. That means Social norms are what you people need to understand especially if your on the side of the fight that needs those to change.

And let me remind all of us that at one point in time people in the alcohol community fought just as hard and believed just as much in their cause as we believe in ours. Hate the game not the player.

There was a time alcohol CEOs were called gangsters, and we are the majority it's just the big scare tactic they use, Imprisionment that keeps half the people in check.

Michigan is a police state...I served 11 years in mdoc and witnessed it inside out the business of corrections and money. I recently got charged for 1.5 grams of marijuana and it has become a drawn out thing where they are making me drive 5 hours for probation interviews to be put in state funded programs for drug addicts. Get real, I am an unregistered and under Michigan law I could've made a medical defense yet I was unaware I had the right to make that claim...I know I've been diagnosed with ptsd due to the decade plus I was incarcerated in Michigan department of Correction from age 15 when I was tried as an adult until age 26, about 4 years ago.
How's about a nice chunk of "NUTRILOAF"for supper tonight :-P

Its been decades & i still get a stomache ache when i remember eating that foul garbage, kinda like eating a car tire stuffed with shit then cooked, fukin shit like'd to killed my ass,i ate 1/4 of a loaf & couldnt shit for 3 weeks, when i did it was ugly.

Dont think just cause you've been down you are not good enough to participate in michigans mmj program, ive got a B prefix, spent time behind the walls & did a bit in MR as well & im a participant in the program, not only am i a patient but im a caregiver as well, dont settle for the scraps they throw you, start letting mother fuckers see your face & hear your voice.

Its been 20 years since i was inside & to this day when i get pulled over by the police i come up as a code 10, approach with extreme caution ! Its silly too beacuse im an old fukin man now, but ya know what ?

Im gettin pulled over with a one hitter in my shirt pocket filled with hash & a FAT sack in the glove box & there aint shit they can do to me ,EVER AGAIN :bigjoint:

The same laws that they used to seize everything i owned & put me away with now protect me& it feels good as fuk.

Dont settle for ex con scraps, get a lawyer workin on it & get legal asap, dont lay down now that your out.

The whole point was they were criminals way to read my post.

And just because we had majority vote doesn't mean we are the majority. Think of how many people don't vote.. They still have opinions and could come out to vote against us at anytime if we piss them off enough.

It has been said before and it will be said again
Lansing... September 7th... Front steps of the capital building... Noon... We must all
be there. If you don't do for any other reason PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do it for the SICK.
I know we are all sick but some are so sick that they cannot go and they need us to
stand up for them and ourselves.....
See you all there.............................

I am not trying to blast anyone I just want everyone to realize what has really happened here
Some seem to think that this ruling only shut down the dispensaries but that could not be
farther from the truth. Think of all the poor patients, that by the grace of GOD and their
caregivers, that used to get free or discounted meds and that was made available by the overages
that were gotten into the hands of those patients that could afford it. WELL that is all gone
now. Those people are left out on the street....... We must come together..........
It does not matter what organization you like or do not like it is time to come
together......
They have created a monster and they don't even know it yet but
I assure you THEY WILL.......

Fully understood your post,......where did that come from? I just felt calling them criminals was being too nice, that's all.
I would think more law abiding citizens voted than criminals, the governments' power/control comes through fear which are fueled by the media and prisons.
I'm on your side dude save some of that energy for the 7th, together we stand.

Panhead I agree totally, I'm from Ohio and after I was paroled I came home to Ohio. I was visiting a friend from Saginaw (who is a caregiver) and my car broke down and officer came an hour later claimed he smelled pot...well, it was a blunt (1.5g) and I was unaware of how serious Michigan can get over such a little ammount...it is a non-jail offense resulting in a 100-150 fine here in Ohio. He said he smelled pot asked if he could have it, I gave it to him and he arrested me. I ended up at the Reformatory (i-5) when I was fifteen years old a full four years behind Michigan's Punk Prison (which they have subsequently closed). I've considered relocating to Michigan to benefit from the mmj program, but figure my luck is so shitty they'd find a reason to say my op is not in 'compliance' lol. Seriously, I admire what you guys are doing, I'd be happy to protest with you guys in Lansing, even though I am not a card holder (I consider my trees to be medicine regardless of their legality).
