Been lazy on getting pics posted :) There's not a ton to see yet though... got a couple putting out buds and the rest still working on unfolding the leaves around the new buds. 5 gallon plants gettin nice and big, but still not too big (shoulda veg'ed'em longer).

My 2 biggest BMFs in veg ended up boys... little bitty nuts on'em today. BOO. I guess a few days 12/12 was enough for'em to show -- shoulda figured they were boys since they were so tall. One of them is the one with the freak leaf. I topped a few of the veg plants that had already been topped before so they'll now have 4 colas... since they're still pretty small those should be some nice big main colas.

All the plants doing well no issues to report.

Shit sensei!
Do you still have that AOS boy?!!

Aceof Spades has been discontinued.... And I haven't chopped the little one here, so figured one of us should make more of them!
That, or we gotta have cuts always.

Lemme know what up.

i think it's probably dead i haven't checked it in a few days and didn't water it... what do you mean discontinued i haven't seen anything about that? can definitely get more seeds from hempdepot where'd you see about discontinued?? if that's the case it's time to order some before stock runs out... but i doubt that can be true

I saw it on another site too along with space jill... and i know space jill is discontinued... I just emailed hemp depot because they still have stock and he said he's gonna check and see because he hasn't heard it was discontinued... he has some left but not a ton... so looks like i may need to buy some more next payday... wanna go in on some seeds? :)

Just watered the flower girls... I was hoping they would go almost a week without watering, but no such luck... though they are still at 4-5 days between waterings so that's good... it's going to be hell when they get down to watering every day at the end of flower, and i know they will due to pot size.

Everyone's flowering their asses off now... got a couple showing full buds... of course it's the apollos leading the charge full flowers on one already... my favorite CQ showing full buds.... most of the rest almost fully budded, the 2 in the 5 gallons are lagging the most as they did a lot of root stretching instead of flowering the first few days... but they'll catch up and surpass the rest. Everyone looks great... 4-6 nice sized colas on the small pots... bushes on the 5 gallons.

Found one more boy in the veg room... another c4xcaseyband... so the 3 biggest have all been boys with nuts. Everyone else doing great.. .reacted real well to the compost tea nutes they got and are really taking off in development now... should be ready for full nutes next week.

Too bad I think you don't live too close to me beech aren't you in dallas or houston or something?

Damn I am down to 12 females in flower and already 12 seedlings in veg now after those 3 boys... not the kind of numbers I was looking for... i need more seeds or some cuts :) unfortunately my flower cuts are probably gonna take a month+ to root/reveg....

On the bright side, I got confirmation that my seed order arrived today and it's on its way to me. Last time I got the seeds 1 week after they were sent, so if we're lucky I'll have the seeds before the end of next week... may end up planting a pack.

Just got done getting my ass chewed off by mosquitos repotting that ace of spades cut. It is now in a 3.4 gallon airpot (roughly equivalent to a 5+ regular) -- I expect great things from her :) I put in 3 layers of nutes... one layer of nutes it should hit probably within a week of stretching roots (veg blend), then a few inches below it another layer of veg blend nutes but about twice as much, then a few inches below that (3-4 inches above the bottom of the pot (it's tall)), a pretty decent sized layer of bloom nutes. Each layer I mixed lightly into the inch or two of soil below it. I'm going to veg her with the babies 2-3 more weeks with compost nutes and superthrive every watering. She will be a BEAST in flower I should be able to get 4oz+ off of her if I veg her properly I'm sure. Hopefully #4 is a fantastic pheno and not a dud. It is definitely doing well in flower so far.

I'm guessing based on my previous experience I'll end up with about 23oz off the first 12 plants in flower... estimating 4 x 2oz, 5 x 1.5 oz, and 3 x 3 oz based on the results I got from previous grow. Could be a bit more or less. That's really not bad at all considering it's only the first 12... and it would definitely reach my goal for yield on those.

Yield per watt would be either 0.59g/watt if you count those LEDs as 240ws, or 0.74g/watt if you count them as 135w, which is more realistic since they do not operate at 100% of the 240w led strength. That's not all that impressive until you consider the grow area is more than half empty. So if the room were full that would be 1.18g/watt - 1.58g/watt -- and that's not even a full load either, because the shelf has room for 2 more plants and the floor has room for at least 2 more big'uns on the ground on that side... given that I did not even properly veg those bottom plants (why i'm only estimating 3oz instead of 4-5), there's a lot of room for improvement... really if things had worked out better on females this time, and i filled the floor with 3-5g pots around the light and a full room.... I estimate yields in the 1.47g/watt - 2.014g/watt range. 5.125 lbs to be exact - 24 1.5g @ 1.75oz each + 8 3-5g @ 5oz each. Let's see if that happens in the next 2 or 3 grows :) Really it would work out to 2.6lb/month since i'll be doing one side at a time... we'll see :) I don't aim small do I? Of course once I get my keepers it's going to be down to 16 2.4 gallons & 8 5 gallon airpots :) 1.5 gallons are for testers. Considering I got 3.5-4+oz from the 2.6gallon airpots last time, the yields could actually go substantially higher. 16 @ 4oz each + 8 @ 6oz each = 7 lbs.

Pretty much anytime outside normal work hours is good... just send me a text when it's a good time for you... also the new veg crew isn't up to cloning time yet, but let me know if you want me to clone some of them before they go to flower and i'll get you some cuts. i'll probably wait until into flower again for my own cuts.

I have one sparkle in veg and it's a pretty plant... hope it's a girl :)

So here's pics!! Probably do a video this weekend...

End of day 7 pics

Aos4 is moved upstairs now...

The seedlings are looking great! They have officially started taking off in their growth and branching out now everybody got quite a bit bigger since I last saw them a couple days ago. Unfortunately, they've also sucked down their water as fast as the flower girls, though I think I did not give them as much water too. They have to be watered tonight or tomorrow morning.

I DO still have one C4xcaseyband that is smaller than the others and hasn't shown male, so hoping it is a female :) My runty plant even almost doubled in size, though still looks puny and pathetic... everybody looks good in there no issues. 1.5-2.5 weeks should be just perfect for them to be nice and vegged for flower and give the new cuts some time to veg up as well pre-flower.

The freak leaf male c4xcaseyband is becoming a real beast... if you were wanting to keep one for breeding, he's probably the one... he's a big ol' stud.

Looking great man,yea im in E Tx.How do smart pots add up too air pot? Have you ever used em i use 3g on some soil plants and do like them alot better than a plastic pots.Ive got to get my yields up as this 11c pkwh is killing me!!

They are pretty close in what they do, though I haven't finished a run in the smart pots as I had to shut the last one down early. They seemed to grow nice sized plants like the airpots. I still think the airpots are just a little better because the exterior is hard so the root zone doesn't get disturbed if you move it around and also the air flows underneath the bottom of the root ball... on the smart bags the bottom is solid usually and the moisture pools at the bottom and stays wetter a lot longer than the airpots... that's good if you want longer between waterings, bad if you overwater your plants. You have to be a bit more careful watering the airpots but once you get used to it it is not much slower. In any case I'm thinking down the road I will get a drip irrigation system... probably next project after the 2nd shelf :) Anyway, it's just a matter of personal preference. I like airpots better, a lot of people prefer the smart bags/pots. They're both way better than regular pots for growing mj - the rule for regular pots is 1g/1ft/1oz... i find the rule for smart pots is 1g/1.5ft/1.5oz... basically acts like a 50% larger pot due to the way the roots grow in the pot. You end up with a solid root mass when done.

LEDs are more cost up front, but they save big on electricity. If/when I ever part with some of all this bud i'm growing, I'm definitely going to invest in some high end LEDs and go back to all LED.

Well shit... got up and checked the plants this morning and flower girls already need watering after 2 days!! granted I only gave them a lighter watering than normal last time, but the pots were pretty heavy... does not bode well for late flower.... something tells me i'm gonna be watering 12 plants every day very soon....

So got up to water veg plants... looks like I will be watering some flower plants as well :(

How in the Hell you water those on the shelves must be a pain.....With them being on a angle you have to remove everyone and water? Or did i miss something......

I take'm down and set them in a tray while i'm watering'em then move'm back. I wanted to have adjustable shelves originally but that didn't work out... i'm thinking now i will probably redo the support shelves a bit and put a drip irrigation system in and redo the shelves so that they will catch the runoff and divert it. Then all I'll have to do once the drip irrigation system is set up is fill up the bucket/barrel of water/nutes and turn it on for X minutes.. all done :) Going to be pretty much essential once I get a full room, from both a time and movement perspective. I don't really have time to water 40 or 50 plants a day :) As it is I am watering 12 at a time now and that is already too much :)

Macros of the Ace of Spades bud owl gave me this morning... it is yummy... it's the first Ace of Spades from the same pack I am growing now... unfortunately no cut. It got me pretty baked I bet it blew owl's wings off... and yet he was still flying high
