Ideal pheno = easy to grow, good yield (although that's probably least important factor), potent high - confusion, inspiration, trippy, laughy, makes ya feel good all over your body, sensory stimulation (auditory/visual hallucination) hits the same every time you smoke it. That old sk00l, nonfunctional shit -- I got plenty of functional weed. Bonus points for being an excellent hash pheno. I'm not a fan of too much paranoia, couchlock, sleepy or stoniness with very little else going on mentally, although don't mind those for a night-night strain :) I don't ask for very much do I? Oh yeah, also prefer bushes over donkey dicks (not that there's anything wrong with that). Heehaw.

Ideally I'd like to have about a half a dozen+ phenos for specific circumstances... one plant/pheno for painkilling/nausea/general medicinal, one for nighttime/sleep, one for daytime, one for just getting to' the fuck up from the flo' up, one that's just silly/laugh/good time weed, one for making hash with, etc. Main thing I'm looking for in keepers is strongly displaying the desired pheno trait I'm looking for and little to no tolerance buildup. It'd be good if the medicinal also were a good hashplant :) A medicine cabinet full of weed for any occasion :)

I not a big fan of confusion.... gotta enough of tht already.Yea its nice to have differrent smoke for different occasions.

Had a job yrs ago with urine test and had not smoked in awhile and smoked some Sativa and i swore id never smoke again,
was the most paranoid id ever off of WEED.Smoked some good Thai and saw very vibrant colors, and very social kinda
high.
I need one tht does not make hungry.....And LST it self and needs no water or nutes.

Yeah well I said confusion not paranoia :) Paranoia = no fun :) 'Whaaaaaaaaaaat is going on????' can be on the right occasion :)

Just finished watering the plants... double sure all are female now -- clear pistilage on everyone. Now just have to hope for no nanners/she-males :)

So the final tally is:

23 seeds started
3 lost in germ (Genius x Deep chunk -- all TGA strains were 100% germ)
13 females (66.5%)
4 Apollo 13 (66% female)
4 Ace of Spades (YEAH BABY - 66% female)
3 Cheese Quake (50% female)
2 Genius x Deep Chunk (100% female)

So the bad news is, we had a little accident last night and a plastic bin fell on top of one of the ace of spades cuttings, splitting the stem in half and leaving it barely attached... i put the stem back the way it should be and have it positioned at an angle so gravity keeps the stem together.. but it was pretty bad i have a feeling it will not make it... right now it just looks stressed/droopy.

Definitely not going to have any issues getting the yields I want. All of them have at least 4-6 good cola branches going, and some are turning into crazy bushes brancing everywhere. I have one apollo in a 1.5 gallon pot that is bigger than the CQ & AoS in 5 gallon pots. :) Shoulda given those more time in their containers before flower but can't have everything, there's always the next generation :)

In the process of setting up new veg room... seedlings are moved, just need to set up lights/arrange/hang sheeting. It's a lot better with more room to move in the main grow area.

13 girls if I don't get at least a pound I'm doing something wrong :)

I'm moving this thread over to subcool's forum later so this'll be my 2nd to last post on this thread... next post will be the link to the new thread with new video and photos

Seems odd you wouldn't be on good terms :) care to enlighten? I don't see why it would prevent you from joining in on the thread it's not like it's his thread he may not even see it... just figure since it's going to be mostly a tga grow might as well put it where the tga peeps can see it :) just took pics and vid... will post later. Gotta run to the hydro store and get some air freshener... feel free to PM me that story if you don't wanna post it publicly :)

Yes there is a story behind it but it's been a few years and water under the bridge I guess. Sub gifted me with a bunch of strains (4) after I had problems germing a bunch of his seeds so to repay the favor I devoted about a year and 100s of photos documenting my tga grow. Was a good journal and at the time head and shoulders above any other grows in that section. Even went out of my way whoring out seeds for him, talking his gear up and all that. There are some gem phenos here and there but be prepared to look for them....almost every female seed of each strain was a different phenotype and at least 70% of his gear hermied without any stress what so ever.

To make a long story short, we got pissed at each other about some stupid little thing and he deleted my journal and I did not take kindly to it. Like I said it's been a while and it's water under the bridge I got over it lol. Shoot he prolly doesn't even remember me ; !)

LOL he very well may not... haven't had any issues with his gear so far but who knows... i'm looking for those gem phenos and i expect'em to be rare that's the case with almost any breeder all the way back... if the gems were easy everybody would be breeding and selling super dank :) but yeah sounds like a shitty situation with your journal i don't think he has that kind of power anymore believe he almost left a bit back because he didn't have the ability to kick trolls out of his forum. Right now TGA is my thing but that can always change depending on how it turns out... very happy with how my apollos came out last time and so far happy with my current batch

The Apollo's were reaaally good. It's a shame I didn't get any to take, but I think voidling has a cut I gave him of it that's rooted and been going a while now.

Hows that AOS doing?(the mashed one)

The one I have in ground may be too late now to try and seed, the pistols are starting to recede, and browning.
Got a shot of it the other night that makes it look all golden...
lets see...

Look for this pheno! Skunky as hell.. The wife went out to water the veggies, and told me there was a skunk that must live under the house or something.. So I went to investigate, and followed the scent back to my tiny Ace of Spades!

Ya man, you definitley get to burn some. Just a waiting game now--and I have been so good about not picking at it or thinking "oh, I'll just pull it early".

So I should be very decent smoke!

Good deal... yeah hard to pull early if you don't got much... hoping since I have some stock I can stay away from this round as well til finished :) Hope you get some good yield... what are you thinking? Looks like a pretty decent lil cola there.

Bummer... my problem cheesequake... all veg just issue after issue for the most part... was ready to chuck it... then towards the end of flower, it starts getting heavy... then I see female preflowers... well I guess i'll keep her since she's a girl right?? So she's really taken off in flower.... fantastic growth... considering she barely had anything left 2 or 3 weeks ago, now she has multiple healthy colas going and you'd almost never know she had an issue... i came in this morning and was just impressed by how she's grown the last few days! What I was not impressed with? NUTS. EVERYWHERE. I can swear it had female pistils, so either it hermed on me or I made a mistake... could very well have hermed as I gave it the same nutes everyone else got which may have been too much since the nute sensitive ones are known to hermie if you give'm nutes. Did not find any nuts elsewhere... everything else is forming female flowers as far as I can tell.

Who is the breeder of the cheesequake?
TGA of course :) This particular CQ has been stressed since day 1 while all its brethren have been fine... i probably pushed the nutes too much (it's one of a couple of strains they say will herm if you give it too much nutes) -- my others have been fine the whole way along. Yeah I spotted female preflowers with pistil hairs on more than one occasion on that plant... so either it is a true hermie that has both boy and girl parts or it was a girl that i caused to hermie through stress and nutes. This one was also a different pheno than the other 5 I had it was the tallest and most sativa of the group. So not sure whether the others will have any issues as they're a hardier different pheno.
