I'm gonna keep mine at 5-6" until the plant gives me a reason to change it -- so far it hasn't. Looks like it'll be putting out buds in the next few days (unopened growth tips pointing up that (will in the next few days) open up into flowers -- it's on day 6 now). Now that my cuttings are in my bedroom in my stealth cab (tho it stays open mostly), i'm gonna put that analog timer into the veg room so I can finally go 18/6.

The game to LED's is footprint. As long as your able to cover the area you need, the closer the better. I'm excited to see your babies come along!

Well that's more watts than I got. I went straight to the Chinese manufacturer. They claim the light can cover huge footprints. I don't believe them of course.

I had a timer give me the opposite issue. Took me over a month to find out probably. It would shut off during lights on. So wasn't getting good growth.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKFeel like crying this morning... it got cold last night in the middle of the night, so I went and turned the heater on... woke up about 45 min or an hour after lights on and remembered to turn the heat off... just went in and checked and just that little bit of time with heat and without a/c has made my really pretty completely unstressed plant look like shit... tons of twisted up and curled leaves, spots on the leaves, etc... it no longer looks like a pretty, unstressed plant. :( :( :( Lots of similar leaf issues on some of the others... FUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!! I want a separately climate controlled grow room!

That's gutting Sen. I've had some pretty bad heat stress on my plants, makes things look ugly, but I've found as long as the leaves are still there things progress alright. Still sucks though. Sorry bro.

How cold was it getting in the grow room?

And speaking of gaining/ non gaining of weight, I quit smoking weed for a few months and went from 120 to 160 in 2 months. It was ridiculous. Started smoking and I'm back down to 125. Go figure.

Yea it'll survive not enough to come close to killing it but i had a perfect looking plant before, and now I have the kind you see in photos on RIU all the time ;) It only gets down to about 65 in the grow room usually.

Well we aren't perfect. My trick... just take pictures of the parts that look good. lol

It is gutting though. To have a beautiful picture of perfection, and mess it up. Just imagine if you had forgot to turn the heater off!

If I don't pass out quickly I get such a sweet tooth, which I normally don't have. At least that's how the romulan does me

Fuck... I got to feeling better about it... thinking well mostly it's just some curled leaves, but they're all green still, so it won't be an issue... but what I am finding as I look closer is that anything that was under an LED got *FRIED*... not to death but just about... so basically all the prime leaves under the canopy on big red are mostly jacked up... she'll put out more i'm sure but at what cost? So much for 6oz. I'll be lucky if I get 4 now in the condition she's in. May have to go in there and trim all the leaves more than 50% damaged. So apparently a key component of what people are missing on LED plant problems is heat.... or maybe heat+not enough co2 (closed room) -- although the exhale co2 bag is actually sitting on the pot with the exhale point at the canopy... so probably just heat.I'm really thinking after watching sub's latest school of dank vid where he discusses taking co2 measurements in his grow room maybe getting a full on co2 setup for my main flower area. When it's closed I bet the co2 levels get down pretty low.

Hey Sensei ya that stuff is definitely great for music!! I definitely been enjoying it to its fullest. About out though :< I burn to much lol. Can not wait to see those durbans! Good luck on getting your circuit breaker looked into!

Hope you all had a good Thanksgiving!!! I know I did!! Was stuffed and rips of those purps only made it that much better!

Hope you get to feeling better Owl! You take b12 shots or anything?

Sensei on your stressed plants they can always come back to health with some TLC...just get in there and show them how sorry you are and make sure they don't have temp spikes like that :D I saw one thread of how someone had a completely toasted curled up dead plant and brought her back to life churning out clones...maybe I can hunt it down and link it...Good luck !!!

Yeah the plants will all survive it's just really disappointing back to back on top of the disappointing harvest. Discouraging I guess is the word -- it affected my mood all day yesterday. I wanted this plant to be stress free and happy throughout flower so I'd get maximum yields out of it... think i can still get good yields out of her if i keep her happy from here out but i don't see how i would get as much as if this hadn't happened. If I could just get one or two harvests in producing similar plants/yields to what i put out earlier this year I could afford to put better climate management in there :) For example right now I've been keeping the grow room door open during days so i don't have to run the house a/c.

Who's ready for cuts?Just put 5 cheesexcheese flower cuts into soil... just checked cuts in the dome and i have 3 or 4 big red's rooted... i expect several more as they all look in good condition still :) 2 or 3 of the smaller ones failed already though. So I should have extra cheese cuts if anyone is really wanting a long flowering not far from 100% sativa (she did only stretch a little over 2x at least). the whole plant and buds look very pure sativa-ish though and she's definitely gonna be a 110-120 day plant... waiting on cuts for grape apollo to root as well (taken later) -- i was unable to get any cuts off of the big yielding NHK as all branches were main colas with good yielding bud sites the only way to take cuts would've been to cripple yield for minimal chance of getting a cut since I could only afford to take one or two. It is really too bad this plant would be a great commercial grow if the high is there (haven't sampled)... i could see big yields off it... maybe i'll reveg it and just leave the smallest branch on. Just goes to show you gotta take those cuts in veg :( i'm done with flower cuts... back to veg :) all the big red cuts are veg cuts. The reveg of the flower cuts definitely takes too long for it to be worth it even if they generate monster plants.

Yup definitely go with veg cuts.

Wish I had the money for a new led and make a sativa box so I could try that cheese and sparkle.

Luckily owl's cuts look to be ready for veg in a couple weeks... so should be taking bb2, bb1, sparkle & romulan cuts then

Got 3 big red cuts in soil now (upper right corner below) fresh from the dome... i expect to have a few more.

Big Red got those burnt ass leaves trimmed, and the lights moved up 2-3" - I got a box fan to point on her to give her a bit more ventilation as well - that burning seems to have slowed bud development to a crawl the last few days... she was about ready to pop before and no real change in budding since

I am thinking about putting the double grape apollo and the NHK in the dark for a couple days... they do not seem to be swelling as much as they were before... i'll decide before morning
