Virgin goes all the way

OK I was so disappointed with those pictures I took some more better ones. These should show the extent of the leaf drop.

what's up Busta. Sorry to hear about that man. I can feel where your coming from because I too have been going though some problems as well. I just like to chalk it up as another lesson learned and add more experience to my arsenal. From the looks of the pictures it doesn't appear to be that bad. I'll bet they'll make a full recovery in no time.

Grow on my man.

Peace.

I don't know whats going wrong but my plant seems to be dying off. a lot of the leaves have went brown and she just doesn't look healthy at all. I haven't changed anything. Could this just be a result of her wilting at the start of the week? I thought she was recovering too.

Any ideas folks?

sniff sniff after all this hard work too.

Here are the pics

Aww sorry she's not doing well. Are the buds going weird too or just the leaves? Hopefully someone else has an idea of whats happening :(

Ok it's been a while but here are some update pictures.

She seems to be recovering but her growth has definitely been stumped somewhat. Still really annoyed with myself.

Just going with the flow at the moment, had two weeks from now as my average harvest date but i'm not sure about that. What do you think?

What do you think of her so far? recovering from my fuck up I know and could have been so much better but I wont make the same mistake next time.

Did you ever figure out what was going on with her? I would have guessed nute burn, but don't like to guess at it, when it could cost someone their plant. Aside from that she seems to be doing ok, I don't know if she'll be done in two weeks though.

Well your not going to believe this but when she had that day (more like a few hours) of starvation when my res tank went dry it wrecked the nutrient pump so she was only getting fed from her roots which were in the res tank which ment all the roots on the NFT layer were drying up and not getting fed. I have since pulled out the pump and repaired it and she is getting watered the way she was before which seem to have resolved the issue. She has been on just plain old water this week to try and flush any built up nutrients from the roots after they dried out and tonight i'm going to put her back on to her nutrients again so hopefully we will see a big improvement over the next few weeks.

I think your right about the harvest date DoeEyed I think that she has been stunted by this and i'm going to leave her to see how she goes, as you know im in no rush. She is smelling rather tasty at the moment though and the thc seems to be building up on the leaves round the buds but the main cola doesn't seem to have as much frosting as the lower branches which i'll assume is because they are closer to the lamp. I'm going to take off the extending lamp holders and secure the lamp directly to the top of my cupboard to see if this helps the situation.

I think the yellowing of the leaves is due to the starvation rather than too much nutrients as she is getting the same amount as she always was before.

I just had a we look their and came out with very stinky weed fingers which i guess is a good sign that thc is building up.

Thanks for checking in, i'll try and do some more updates over the next week or so as things progress.

Wow! Sounds like you caught it in the nick of time, she would have died! Yeah the main colas don't get quite as frosty because of the lamp. It's all good though.

Hay folks seem to be having some issues with my baby. I don't know if this is the same problem I have been having with over watering or not. What do you think?

The leaves seem to have brown marks on them but only on the old growth not the new.

Could this be a nitrogen problem as JN811 suggested? or do I really need to get a timer quick smart to get this over watering under control. The growell tech guys said I shouldn't need a timer on the pump but others on here have suggested that I do.

I'm confused.

Too much nitrogen...

Hay folks, seems like it's been ages since ive been on the site.

Here is a little update with some pics from my phone as my XD card has went on the blink :(

She seems to be doing well and is really really stinky. Any idea what I should be looking out for to determine harvest time? I know it's something to do with the Tri changing colour but I dont have a microscope. Guess i'll need to invest in one.

What do you think? looking ok? on track?

Here's the pics

Sorry about the crap quality.

heyyy wassup man. yeaa man they;re looking good! those buds are gonna be HUGE wen theyre finished!! how long have they been flowering? u deff have a lil longer to go tho.. if u dont have a scope. ur gonna have to by by the hairs. and soo your gonna want about 3/4 of the hairs to be red/orange.. soo pretty much. when ur buds become over-run with red hairs.. and u dont see that many white ones left. your good to chop. =)

another way to tell wen theyre ready.. without a scope (this is my favorite way!) is to bust out the scissors.. and find a nice lil branch, and snip off a small bud to sample.. dry it out real quick (if u need sum quick-dry methods lemme know.. i know a bunch!) and then smoke it.. and if you like the high you get from it. then cut her down.. if u dont.. adn u want it to be a lil more powerful (couchlock) then wait about 4-5 more days and sample again till you find the high your looking for. =)

and just remember too.. if u harvest early... u get more of a "sativa" high.. which will be more of an energetic type high.. and the longer u wait.. the more "indica" high u will get.. which will be more of a couchlock.. or sleepy high.. the kinda stuff u would only wanna smoke at night! lol.

hope this helped. im subbed!!

**PS... if u want a scope.. go to RadioShack.. u can get one for $10.. i got one of them.. but i still have a hard time seeing trichs with it... i use my lil sister microscope.. lol. u know those ones u buy at like a toy store..? and it comes with the lil sliders with like... moth wings.. bee wings.. and stuff like that?? i find that those work MUCH MUCH better!!
