Voidling's Wicking Bed

I'm getting a little algae on the coco surface between two plants :(

Otherwise I think it's looking good. Probably another week off veg. What do yall think?

Lookin good void yeah not too much longer if you're gonna keep'em from getting too big :)

i'm trying to figure out how owl is having time for this super secret setup with everything going on!

Thanks Colo

I've got a max of 12 inches below the light. So either need to do some lst or flip I guess.

I think I need to get some fishing line weights to do LST unless y'all have better ideas

I like bambo skewers (like for shrimp and shish-kebab) and twist ties for small work, plus they work for support later on. Not to mention, who doesn't like a skewered meat from time to time!

I'll give it a shot then.

Also got to find a good way to support my tomato plants this year. Those metal cages don't do jack for the monsters that I end up growing down here.

I'd love some skewered meat right now, I'm starving. 2 cans of tuna didn't do anything

Looking a lot healthier voidman. I wouldn't flip them just yet even though your height is limited, another week or so like you were thinking. You don't have height but you have space to work with,,,,,,,take the little stakes like colo said and spread all of those tops out right down to the ground almost. The longer you delay flowering the more roots you'll have which is always good. But you said you were going to lst them so your probably going to do all of that anyways. Oh well my 2 cents lol

Thanks HC. I'll try LST with them. I've been using 1 teaspoon of maxi grow per gallon of water on the top side. I think I'll slowly transition over to maxibloom in quarter tsp intervals over the week to help prepare it for flower.

I can't go too long though. I need to get some sparkle into bloom for a summer wedding present.

I think the bed idea is going to suck for sexing new plants since they can't be rearranged after pulling males

but i bet they will get super big because of all the root room. its always nice to rearrange plants, and especially for sexing...thats my one dislike about scrog's! figure out what to do about algae yet?

No, I haven't thought about it yet kinda forgot it. I don't want to cover the surface in hydroton and about anything else will grow algae as well

Just till it back in, pretty soon it wont get enough light to keep doing that. Probably need to let it go through a deeper dry cycle too or add some surface air movement, that will help. Ultimately it's just some trace N for your ladies down the line, otherwise it won't harm anything. Also your tea will help it break back down into the medium.

They're sativas I guess. They seem to run out of n quick which is why I plan to put extra in for a week or two
