You just said the same thing about knives yesterday didn't you? I mean it's just a terrific case because it's totally logical and everything 
We should ban books because you can learn bad things from them! And no more belts because you can strangle people with them, same with shoelaces.
Just ban everything! Stay locked up in your home and don't go outside!

Pro, and the sarcasm was palpable. My point is that even if you are pro gun, it's a ludicrous point to make. It's not convincing anybody of your point. I am also pro leave-my-guns-alone, but "ban cars" is a rather facile argument against banning guns IMO. Or are you not capable of understanding my point that if "ban cars because car accidents" is your base for not banning guns, it's not a very good one?
