on the other side, they can see Tomak from a drone view.....almost time to move in artillery
They might go around it and cut it off, easier to force the demoralized garrison manning the defenses to surrender if they are surrounded, mostly by old fart reservist pulled up from the rear, while the young bucks to the heavy lifting. They need to be prepared to hold and provide security for the turf they take and should have reservist ready in the rear to do the job they might have a million of them by now.on the other side, they can see Tomak from a drone view.....almost time to move in artillery
what would be a good idea, is to take those drones and attach surrender flyers on them and drop them from the sky...just with a message "we can see u, all you need to do is surrender aka put up the white flag"They might go around it and cut it off, easier to force the demoralized garrison manning the defenses to surrender if they are surrounded, mostly by old fart reservist pulled up from the rear, while the young bucks to the heavy lifting. They could be taking lots of ground fast soon and lots of prisoners.
Easier if you surround them and eliminate the leadership with HIMARS or 155mm artillery. Urban areas are generally to be avoided, but the local population may be prepared to help and, in some cases, can clean their own town or talk to the surrounded garrison about terms.what would be a good idea, is to take those drones and attach surrender flyers on them and drop them from the sky...just with a message "we can see u, all you need to do is surrender aka put up the white flag"
true, but you have to give people who want to surrender the ability too. There is a kindergarden in the area, that they're using as make shift hospital, that would be area to start dropping those phamphlets, and start dropping them in the trenches too.....then those who don't, well....Easier if you surround them and eliminate the leadership with HIMARS or 155mm artillery. Eh don't know bout that....maybe mortar, respectivelyThe range of FPV drones can be greatly extended using disposable batteries or some of the newer rechargeables coming online. GPS tracking antenna mounts for directional antennas are cheap and can be mounted on a pole stuck into the ground with the operator remote from it and military grade comms kits could be premade to work with a wide variety of drones. A little preparation then large numbers of FPV and cheap commercial drones could be converted to military use, hardened electromagnetically with shielding and have secure military grade transceivers installed.
Could Small Drones Really Replace Artillery?
Former Google boss Eric Schmidt has suggested small drones could replace artillery and other weapons. Techno-enthusiasm is one thing, but could he possibly be right?www.forbes.com
Military hardware is expensive compared to mass produced drones they make tens of thousands for the commercial market every month.Eh don't know bout that....maybe mortar, respectively
3d print the fins...and ua is already doing that....boomMilitary hardware is expensive compared to mass produced drones they make tens of thousands for the commercial market every month.
Uh, which one is it?Military hardware is expensive compared to mass produced drones they make tens of thousands for the commercial market every month.
...secure military grade transceivers...
They can make the transceiver kits pretty cheap and put them in the drones as kits, if not the drones will fall out of the sky like dead flies when they are good at EW. Most of these things are a few chips on a 1 or 2 sqin PC board that is shielded, the chips might cost more, but not that much more and they would assemble them, most of the time and work would be in the firmware driving it.Uh, which one is it?
