Israel has confiscated land on which the headquarters of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees (Unrwa) is located in Jerusalem, with plans to build 1,440 settlement units on the site.

According to Israel Hayom, the free daily newspaper, the Israel Land Authority announced the confiscation of the land in the Sheikh Jarrah neighbourhood in occupied East Jerusalem.

Dan Iloz, a Likud MP, told the paper that the "expropriation of land in Jerusalem is an important step, but not enough" and denounced Unrwa as "a hotbed for terrorism under a humanitarian guise".

The announcement comes a day after members of the United Nations Security Council warned Israel against proceeding with a law, promoted by Iloz and others, aimed at curbing Unrwa's ability to operate.

The Knesset's Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee approved two bills on Sunday which effectively aim at ending Unrwa's activity and privileges in Israel.

False claims (without evidence) spread by Zionists group Zaka and US/UK media
ZAKA is not a trustworthy source for allegations of sexual violence on October 7
ZAKA is one of the leading organizations alleging Hamas atrocities on October 7. But the organization’s volunteers have systematically given false testimonies, and continue repeating them to journalists on behalf of the Israeli government.
ZAKA is a non-governmental religious Haredi organization specializing in collecting dead bodies and body parts from sites of “unnatural” deaths and transporting them to morgues according to strict Jewish religious laws.

The organization was founded in the late 1990s by Yehuda Meshi-Zahav. Meshi-Zahav was previously the leader of “Keshet,” an ultra-Orthodox Jewish terrorist group that targeted forensic pathologists and used explosives against shops selling “secular newspapers.” Meshi-Zahav led ZAKA until 2021, when he attempted suicide after shocking revelations of dozens of rape and sexual assault cases committed by him. Since its inception, the organization — described as a “militia” by the highly esteemed Israeli journalist Yigal Sarna — has been subject to incessant criticism, investigations, and demands to dismantle it.

The testimonies provided by ZAKA’s members — all men, most of whom are volunteers — on sexual violence on October 7 are based on their interpretation of what they claim to have seen on bodies they collected after the attack. Not only do these men lack the professional qualifications to make such assessments (they are not medical experts), but their testimonies also lack details: no age, no location, and no time. Details and/or evidence have not even been given to journalists who have asked to see them while reporting on these testimonies. This means that it is impossible to either confirm or debunk them.
Meanwhile, Israeli military have been filming themselves commit atrocities and actual war crimes. Full documentary on Al Jazeera's website/YouTube, unable to share here.. thier war crimes and crimes against humanity are too graphic. It's insane how they've been recording and posting on social media accounts clear evidence of their crimes/disgusting actions including sniping unarmed men, women and children and going through women's underwear/belongings etc. When the documentary came out, tried frantically to erase their posts, but too late...

The United States deployed a special anti-ballistic missile battery system (THAAD) and its 100-member crew to help defend Israel against a potential third direct attack from Iran.
  • Entire System: The cost of a single THAAD battery, which includes 6 launchers, 48 interceptors, a radar system, and fire control systems, is estimated to be between $800 million and $1.2 billion depending on configurations and upgrades.
  • Missile/Interceptor Cost: Each THAAD interceptor missile costs approximately $12 million. This makes the missiles expensive to replace, but their effectiveness in protecting against major ballistic missile threats justifies their use in critical defense operations.

Regarding the detention of Palestinians in Israeli military camps and detention facilities, the report found that thousands of child and adult detainees, many of whom were arbitrarily detained, have been subjected to widespread and systematic abuse, physical and psychological violence, and sexual and gender-based violence amounting to the war crime and crime against humanity of torture and the war crime of rape and other forms of sexual violence.

Male detainees were subjected to rape, as well as attacks on their sexual and reproductive organs and forced to perform humiliating and strenuous acts while naked or stripped as a form of punishment or intimidation to extract information. The deaths of detainees as a result of abuse or neglect amount to the war crimes of wilful killing or murder and violations of the right to life.

Full UN report (pdf) including assault on medical workers and systematic rape of men and women in Israeli detention centers from Oct23 - Jul24 here.

While US sends more aid/munitions to fund Israel's terrorism on the region.

Another deadly attack on a hospital in Gaza, people burned alive.. "Never Again" but if Israel is inflicting a holocaust with US weapons, it's okay.. Absolutely mad.

‘Gaza is a never-ending hell’: UNRWA chief
The head of the UN agency for Palestinian refugees says central Gaza went through “another night of horror” after Al-Aqsa Hospital and an UNRWA school were attacked.

“Tents up in flames due to an air strike on the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Hospital where people sought shelter,” Philippe Lazzarini said. “Meanwhile, in the same area, an UNRWA school was hit with 20 people reported killed.”

Lazzarini said the school could not be used for the polio vaccination campaign – which has started today – after it sustained severe damage in the latest Israeli attack on a shelter.

“Gaza is a never ending hell. All of this must not become the new norm. Humanity must prevail.

‘It’s a horror show’: Doctor describes aftermath of Gaza hospital attack

Dr Mohammed Tahir, a volunteer surgeon, is dealing with the carnage after Israel’s attack on Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in central Gaza.

Tahir said he and his overwhelmed team were already dealing with another mass casualty incident – the Israeli shelling of a school sheltering displaced Palestinians in Nuseirat – when victims from the hospital attack came streaming in.

“We were inundated. We had women, men, children as young as one year of age dying in front of our eyes,” Tahir told Al Jazeera from outside the hospital.

“I have spoken to countless individuals who witnessed some of the horrors. People are traumatised. I think it’s fair to say that people have really got to the point now where they feel there is no hope – no one is coming to help them, no one is coming to save them.”

Tahir said they are dealing with patients with burns on 60 to 80 percent of their bodies – many who won’t survive.

“Patients with significant high percentage burns, unfortunately, their fate is sealed. They won’t even make it to the ICU. They will die.”

“It’s a horror show here. Honestly, sometimes I feel like this is not real life – that this can go on and this degree of suffering is allowed to happen in this world.”

Israel threatens 400,000 Palestinians in northern Gaza with starvation

The Euro-Mediterranean Human Rights Monitor has warned that over 400,000 Palestinians in northern Gaza are at risk of dying from starvation and thirst due to Israel’s complete siege of the area and ban on the entry of food and water for almost two weeks.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces continue their large-scale assault on northern Gaza for the tenth consecutive day, aiming to empty the region of its inhabitants.

Around 200,000 Palestinians in the North Gaza Province have been unable to access any food or drinking water for ten days, as they remain trapped in their homes or in shelters in which they had sought refuge, the Euro-Med Monitor said in a statement. The ongoing Israeli military onslaught has killed more than 350 Palestinians, injured hundreds and caused widespread destruction to homes and residential buildings.

‘Worst restrictions’ as Israel blockades Gaza: UN

The United Nations says restrictions on aid to Gaza are the worst since Israel’s war on the Palestinian territory began in October last year.

“We see now what is probably the worst restrictions we’ve seen on humanitarian aid – ever,” said James Elder, a spokesman for the UN’s children’s agency UNICEF.

He noted there were several days where no trucks were allowed into Gaza by Israel with Palestinians in the north cut off from food, water and medicine during a 12-day ground invasion and siege by Israeli troops.

In a letter sent to the Israeli government on Sunday, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin warned the United States could withhold weapons deliveries unless more humanitarian aid is delivered to Gaza.

Continuing its destruction in the region, Israel again commits mass terror, demolishing an entire village after looting/pillaging..

Tremendously disgraceful the USA is providing the weapons & support for this terrorist organization, but not surprising.

All this while Israeli realtors are planning even more settlements on the destroyed land, taking offers from around the world. Disgusting.

Israel’s ‘limited’ campaign in Lebanon is expanding
Reporting from Hasbaiyya, Lebanon
Two sets of evacuation orders have been issued. This is the first time that this has happened in the Bekaa Valley.

Now, when those evacuation orders were issued, it wasn’t long after that the airstrikes came in, so that’s likely to be connected.

This is getting people worried because on September 29th, Israel said that it was going to mount a limited ground invasion into Lebanese territory.

Now, they have been doing that on the border, but the aerial campaign is getting wider and wider.

Some 32 percent now of the south, just where I am, is under Israeli evacuation orders.

The attack on Bekaa now adds to that, and it’s in the east of Lebanon.

In total, some eight percent of Lebanese territory is now under those Israeli evacuation orders, which is concerning to many Lebanese people.

But we’re now hearing from politicians about what they think the definition of Israel’s saying, using the word limited, actually is.

What is that definition? No one seems to know what limited means for the Israelis.

megaphonenews: The Government Emergency Committee issued its 19th report, stating that 77% of the #publicschools in #Lebanon are unable to provide educational services due to being used as shelters or sustaining damage from the #Israeliaggression, according to data from the Education Ministry.

505,483 students and 45,440 teachers are from the areas affected by the Israeli aggression.

The ministry reported that 40% of the technical and vocational education students are from areas that have been directly targeted, as well as 57% of the #LebaneseUniversity students and 32% of students in private higher education institutions.

Macron condemns Israel's ‘indiscriminate’ air strikes in Lebanon and Gaza
French President Emmanuel Macron has criticised Israel for conducting “indiscriminate” air strikes in Lebanon and Gaza, according to a statement from the Elysee Palace summarising his tense phone call with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Macron also “expressed his outrage” over the wounding of several UN peacekeepers by Israeli forces in Naqoura. He urged Israel to stop what he called “unjustifiable targeting.”

His remarks came after Israeli forces last week shelled an observation post belonging to the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) at its headquarters in Naqoura, southern Lebanon, wounding two peacekeepers from the Sri Lankan contingent, reported Lebanon’s state National News Agency.

As Israel bombs Lebanon, Lebanese police try to expel Syrian refugees
Syrian refugees are among those displaced in Lebanon from Israeli attacks. Many have nowhere to go and fear deportation.

Zelensky spoke to Trump and said:

"There are two choices. Or Ukraine will have nuclear weapons, or we should have some kind of alliance, and apart from NATO we do not know any functioning alliances today. We want to choose NATO, not nuclear weapons."

He added that the Budapest Memorandum failed, and Ukraine is the only one affected by it. <-------(TRUE)

"If Russia violated this document, although it is and was the guarantor of this memorandum, then how can we believe in this document? And how can we trust all the partners who guaranteed the preservation of our territorial integrity and sovereignty? These were not only agreements between Ukraine and Russia, but between Ukraine and all partners. Which of these great countries, of all the nuclear powers, are affected? All? No, just one. Ukraine. Who gave away the nuclear weapons? All? No, just one. Ukraine. And who is fighting right now? All? No, just one. Ukraine."

Him and the rest of the EU will be in Brussels later in the month......

Also i like to add, with Ukraine, being added to NATO comes with a lot of responsibilities, although i would like to see Ukraine added to NATO, imo i think it's too soon, especially with Ukraine being at war with Russia kinda throws a wrench into things.

There is a lot of unstable reports coming out of Russia right now, cause ol Pooty is looking at our elections....this is the main key of keeping the orange avenger out of office....as long as he doesn't get into office.

imo i think Russia is gonna have to re-evaluate there position in Ukraine, Russia money isn't worth crap, they're inflation is up at somewhere between 15 to 19%, finally some of the sanctions that were place on Russia are starting to work, in the areas of Manufacturing, Air travel, monetary, and elsewhere. There have lost an estimated 670k of troops in Ukraine with either a 1k to 1.5k of people dieing every day, remember this is an estimate i'm being that number is actually higher.

This election cycle is very important, especially on the global scale.

Agreed.

A shield against genocide allegations
Blinken and Austin’s letter can also be read as an attempt by the Biden administration to cover its own back and try to shield itself against allegations of complicity in genocide. Sure, the administration continues to fund Israel’s genocide and provide it with diplomatic cover, but now, if it ever has to excuse its behaviour, it can point to this letter and say it had at least given Israel a serious admonition.

Of course, the letter could eventually prove to be a strategic mistake since, like Biden’s many previous reprimands to Israel, it reads more like an acknowledgment of ongoing Israeli war crimes than a genuine warning.

For example, in their letter to Gallant and Dermer, Blinken and Austin command Israel to rescind “evacuation orders when there is no operational need”. This appears to be an acknowledgement that Israel has been forcibly displacing Palestinians, which is a grave war crime. Since the start of the war, rights groups have documented numerous instances of forced displacement.

If the US knows Israel is committing crimes, then it cannot justify its continued support for and involvement in Israel’s war, which begs the question: How much does it know about Israel’s apparent policy to starve the population of Gaza?

Israel Is Routinely Shooting Children in the Head in Gaza: U.S. Surgeon & Palestinian Nurse
As the official death toll in Gaza passes more than 42,400, the true number may be impossible to know until Israel’s war is over. But medical workers who witnessed the carnage in Gaza’s hospitals are speaking out. We speak with Dr. Feroze Sidhwa about his op-ed in The New York Times that features harrowing stories from dozens of healthcare workers and CT scans of children shot in the head or the left side of the chest.

The Times called the corresponding images of the patients too graphic to publish. “I personally wish that Americans could see more of what it looks like when a child is shot in the head, when a child is flayed open by bombs,” says Sidhwa. “I think it would make us think a little bit more about what we do in the world.”

Flattened villages, burned fields, homes pockmarked with bullet fire, and smoke billowing out of freshly bombed infrastructure: Southern Lebanon is beginning to look like war-torn Gaza.

In Lebanon, as in the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military has been unleashed without any coherent strategic vision or clear war aim. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu first said that the goal was to push out Hezbollah beyond the Litani River in the hopes of enabling more than 80,000 Israelis to return to northern Israel. But in the following weeks, he unveiled a more sweeping goal, as he threatened the Lebanese people to either oust Hezbollah or face levels of “destruction and suffering like we see in Gaza.”
