Think it was 40 talked him to 27. " think I paid more than that"
Turn of the century, maybe older? Missing one hinge, the other is tied with rawhide. Real fragile well made creole basket.

Rotated compost bins, finish piled got rototiller and water into a garden bed. Who's ready for the manic phase of their seasonal depression I know I am
Just so you guys fully understand where I'm coming from. Yesterday I also; help bury my rents cat, loaded their truck up with a bunch of growing shit to hook my bro up with, ran like 5 loads of laundry, vacuum and mop my whole house, bathed my dogs and took them for a hr long dryout walk, then I stayed up past 3am and woke up at 9 this morning. The past 2 months I have had absolutely no drive, motivation, or desire to do anything really and this is what I call "normal"
Smiles all winter
"No" "fuck it" "don't feel like it "
After 3 days of sunshine and 65f+ temps
"Yes" "everything" "all at once" "all the time"

My Grandpa's fishing creel was set up on an easel with a flower arrangement at his funeral

I took one look at it and started crying, which seemed off-putting to some of the other attendees

I cried at Grandma's funeral too, which was a Catholic ritual which never mentioned the woman who was my Grandma by name

I got a Stihl FS 90R weed whacker with a brush-cutting saw blade last year and finally got a chance to actually use it. This was about 2 hours worth of cutting away woody re-growth from honeysuckle and thorns. There’s gotta be thousands more still to go. Hopefully I can put some nice native trees back there again to replace all this invasive garbage. I’ve been cutting it back a couple feet at a time with the machete for almost 10 years and needed a faster method.

This mailbox lasted more than 20 years but was heavily rusted out on the other side and starting to fall off the pole. So it got replaced with a stainless steel version that will be there for a long time. The door is equipped with a cylinder to hold it open, and slam it shut - rendering the birds ineligible to build a nest in it.
