Went out for lunch and had pan fried cod with dauphinoise potato, asparagus, and a spinach puree. Took one bite of the dauphinoise and walked out with the rest of the family and refused to pay.

Hopefully dinner is nicer. Went to the cornershop and got rib eye steak, rump steak, and flat iron steaks with some watercress, grilled tomatoes and fries.

It wasn't dauphs in any shape or form. It was riced potato mixed with cream etc and then just quenelled and deep fried. Just a mushy fritter with absolutely no seasoning. The beer was good though, Adnams. Didn't have the time to take a tour of the brewery alas.

gf's birthday tomorrow n she's obsessed with coconut, so I'm making batches of coconut macaroons.

holy nom nom of noms they're good. Then again anything with a tin of.condensed milk in it is bound to be good.

Date night too much going on to enjoy an anniversary at the beginning of the month. 300g sirloins, langoustine cooked in Paisley and lemon infused water, and tesco finest oven chips



Just ordered some sawdust apple, cherry, oak, beech, maple, and hickory, and asked for a sample of whisky oak. Should be some good eats

on my trip i ate lots of yummy vegan things!

vegan jackfruit tacos with crema

vegan polenta at Merge in Buffalo NY
they had a live jazz band was beautiful

vegan setain wings! were really good with vegan homemade ranch dressing

my drink that night WAS SO DELICIOUS

stopped at a Mediterranean joint in niagara falls was so good

my vegan meal at medieval times was pretty good actually!

and a completely raw vegan lunch was awesome

nice smoked delights tip top. Though I cant say I'm down with mackerel myself.

nice looking plates Sunni, im surprised they came up with anything at vegan medieval times. I did a medieval fancy dress banquet a few years back was great fun but the tights were too hot for me! Food was a bit bland sadly. Mead is a funny taste.

Not a fan of fresh mackerel, and really don't like shop bought smoked mackerel, so damned salty. But this stuff is surprisingly good. Although I guess that shouldn't be a surprise given it's made with nothing but salt and smoke.

Bloody Turkish mezze! I live with a 73yr old Turkish Cypriot and you can never get in the kitchen or sit down at the table as he never stops cooking and eating all that weird shit.

@sunni A lot of that actually looks pretty good (except the polenta, just looks like a sponge). Those wings look better than the "real" things I can get from the local chicken shops.

ya you know i was surprised too, but the appetizer was hummus and veggies and pitas,
and dinner itself the stew was way too big of a portion for me, but it was FILLING. and huge...but it tasted good
i got fruit for dessert
the lady was so in character she went on about how magical my spoon was and how shes never tired one LOL

The show itself was GREAT! i hadnt been since i was a kid so it was fun to watch, very entertaining. we had front row seats too somehow

i really like firm polenta, no idea why :/ ,..usually i cut mine into circles tho,. it was good .
the wings OH MY.i went back to that restaurant the next day and reordered them. lol

it was cool i follow all these neato vegan resturants on facebook and always see the really good imaginative stuff they make, things i cant find here in my small city, to recreate like those "wings" im really happy i got to try and place like that

wow DGT, I never knew what a fabulous cook you are!. seriously look like gormet restaurant style eating, the prep and presentation is simply GORGEOUS!
Ive got mad bloody respect for you mate.
I had like some kind of powerful spiritual rebirth yesterday on the mountain and I made this
salad with tofu tonight.
I was so stoned I had a very difficult time eating it.
oh my god so fuckin high I cant even swallow my food.
cuz I vaped this SLH with extra resin cuz.
what a trip its settling down real nice now.
Salad With Baked Tofu with melted Munster cheese
olives
candy tomatoes
green peppers
cranberry and glazed walnuts
mushrooms
red cabbage
Olive Garden's Signature Italian Salad dressing.

haha thanks doc but these guys put my slop to shame. Ceepea is an actual chef, his noms are awesome. That Turkish Mezze is at a restaurant, I didn't make that.

tofu and munster cheese? i would never have thought to put that combo together,
than again i dont eat cheese so lol

i do love me some tofu though havent had any in along time everytime ive purchased a package i come to discover the package has been broken/punctured on the inside so iw ont eat it

i ended up breaking out in massive welt hive things after I ate it. and I was so proud of it at the time, for me that salad was groundbreaking. that was the first tofu I bought in a while cuz I heard its good for hormone inbalance. I will be the first to admit im a terrible cook.

now that im not so stoned
looking at that salad I posted, I am quite embarrassed. It looks discussing and the romaine is rotten looking, proving I not only suck at growing weed but also cooking.
