I always suspected salad was dangerous now we know. that sucks ambz, have you figured out what triggered the allergy?

cooking is a trial and error thing, takes a while to get half way good. unless you're one of these naturally talented fuckers. those guys suck.

no don, I have not figured out what caused the allergic reaction yet. I suppose I need to take the ingred
ients one by one and try to trigger another allergic reaction? don't that sound like fun?lol

I did get some bug bites, mosquito's bites while backpacking this past weekend.

They might not have puffed out to full inflation until then, a coincidence after eating the food.

I severely lack the passion, motivation and enthusiasm for cooking. Plus im starting to realize that its much more expensive to buy grocery's then to eat out.
Fast food chains are starting to get some more healthier selections.

no bueno :-( sounds like when they told me i'd have to wait til i got stung in the face again before they'd know if i was allergic to wasps. not happenin haha. now i run like a little girl. i looked like the elephant man for a week.

i wish eating out was cheaper than buying fresh food here, most nice or exotic stuff is imported and seasonal in uk.

cooking is something you either love or see as a necessity i reckon, it's good to have a signature dish you can whip out if nothing else though.

that looks freakin ridiculously delicious dGt. Is it spicy? nice cookin!

This feast for 2 at Famous Daves is to fukin DIE for.
the corn bread is like orgasmic. talk about a test in patience when eating it.
I eat it all... the brisket , the ribs.
Then im curled up in a ball in agonizing pain at night from the sauces I think.
don't it look good mate?
I don't like the beans but the coleslaw is real good.

Back in the kitchen for the summer so back to my 2 banana a day diet. Wahoo.. Does mean i get a free pass to Glastonbury festival this weekend should i feel like going. Probably a bit too boring for my likes though.

Didn't stop me making some hickory, maple and lemon smoked mackerel pate for a snack tonight. Got some left over caviar in the fridge so might fold some of that in and see what it's like.

This whole 5 fruit and veg a day thing can go get fucked. Can't remember the last time i had vegetables. Certainly not in the past month.

duck breast cured in brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, bay leaf, star anise and pink and black peppercorns, smoked over apple wood. With blood orange, candied peach, toasted walnuts, and leaves with a raspberry and rapeseed oil dressing

never realised how simply hot smokers are. A cold smoker is on the to do list but is a bit more effort than just buying a wok.

This is a pizza shaped like a volcano. Was called El Teide after the volcano here on Tenerife.

I assume you have to say "cold pressed" to assure your customers it's quality olive oil? Funny how the worlds gone, you can't just say olive oil now. In the UK Rapeseed oil is the new "olive oil" all the chefy chefs seem to use it.

I don't understand the trend. My current chef uses rapeseed for everything. He likes to dress salads in smoked rapeseed (yuk). At least ceepea hasn't been as generic as to say hey, it's a fish dish, pea shoot garnish!

That halibut looks perfectly cooked. My chef can't cook fish for shit alas. Pops it in a pan then chucks in a spoon of butter before the skin has even attempted to get a little colour and texture.

good lad,

burgers weren't my best, I was distracted talking while making them. Didn't season properly but still nice n tasty. Just an impromptu with a mate n a few britneys. I should be using my sausage maker by now.

almost too hot to eat heavy sitting bait though.
