Like it or not if you make guns completely illegal they will still be available just like drugs. Yes it would help. Yes I think there should be much much stricter laws. Who needs weapons even like our police have. But good luck changing any of that. The question is why are people so angry?

Personally I think social media are making people aware that there are others that are better looking etc etc. At least in the case of it appears the last two gunmen. Then religion at least in the first one made the boy feel shame. Maybe we should ban religion or extreme causes for humans. Humans are a virus like any virus. If let go long enough they will destroy the host. Welcome to reality.

The vast majority of people who oppose the gun lobby don't want guns taken away from people, we just want the same low levels of gun deaths that Canada and UK have.

Yeah I don't really blame religion or social media for anything, because it's just a mirror, but you're right that we're not handling a certain level of awareness very well. Something that I think was a mistake in creating the constitution was not implanting something that conveyed a notion of growth/consumption limitations. That omission combined with a high degree of freedom has fostered delusional expectations of endless expansion.
