I've said it before and I'll say it again; I think the idea of colorblindness in terms of an ideal for structuring race relations is morally and ethically bankrupt and absolutely ignores the richness and priceless value of different cultures, creeds, histories and ethnicities.
Those small minded enough to discriminate based on color of skin, accent of speech, diety they pray to, partners they choose or other criteria that have nothing to do with character, good works or integrity have my eternal disdain, and pity, for they place themselves in a prison of their own ignorance.
