Ha I just read back and realized you were trying to figure out your Jack.Sorry, I should have chimed in.. I pulled at around 11 weeks in far norcal..Fuckin beastly buds. Those shots you were showing me looked like mine a couple/few weeks before the chop. If I had pics you'd have a good reference.

Well, this is kinda depressing, was gonna cut the jack and the hashplant this morning but I woke up to pouring rain. after the weather said it's only a 10% chance. I stayed up till 4:30 AM making sure it didn't rain and drinking cheap vodka, only to get woken up at 6:30 AM to this sight. bummer luckily it stopped for now but it's supposed to start again this evening and go for a full day.

Saw my first and only sign of worm damage so far, in a middle bud my bt probably didnt penetrate well.
Dried a couple of the branches that were on the ground in the oven cause I have nothing to smoked and am kinda stressin.

I feel your pain man. I lost a couple branches due to the storm last night that were unrepairable 
looks like it couldve been worse for both of us but what can you do. definitely doing a carport cover or full carport gh next year.
at least you'll have some buds to burn now

Yeah I'm definitely getting the Costco car port next season. wanted it this year but I have literally had $0 the whole season just about. living on food stamps. Gotta get a good harvest this season so I can buy toys like that for next year!
And yeah I'm stoked to be able to smoke. plus it's all mostly sativa and I don't get to smoke many of those so I enjoy the different high.

yo man, i had a lot of wind damage, like i said.. those will pucker right up with new sun.. since the rain, my buds were like sponges full of wet hurricane... i am getting mold here, mold there.. little spots.. so i took a few branches where i saw mold on any bud and just harvested the branch from that point to the end... sucks, but id rather harvest premmie bud than nothing!

suns up for the rest of the day, it's probably gonna rain again tonight. Gonna pull the Jack and the Hash Plant tonight. my fucking fan broke and now I don't have a ride to get another one so it sucks that I cant dry out my canopy as much as I would like

I really love this sativa pheno of the purple elephant/satori. I wish I cloned it so I wouldn't have to plant a million seeds to find one like it again..
Moved the side garden into the full sun cause I don't see them getting jack while I'm here 24/7 and I'mm start pulling shit soon I think.
Untied the jack and let all the buds hang away from each other to dry out faster. gonna chop it tonight.
Found a huge mantis almost getting smashed by my dog daisy's fat ass. I think he's the one from my window the other day. So I put him on my potted hash plant that has some thrips/ maybe some mites too. he had a good little photo sesh. I love the blue on his mouth!

All my work this morning paid off, only one big branch broke and I taped it back together, it was split really far though, hopefully it doesnt die. if it does I don't reall care its just an extra 1/2 or full ounce of bud to be smoking on while everything else is still getting cut.
Fucking green garden tape/duct tape/ construction tape mess.
Found 3 mold/caterpillar damage spots in the garden. searched thoroughly and didn't find a single worm. I think the BT is working great just hard to get to all the spots in my garden.

Here's a little bud that broke off my indica pheno of purple e/satori. it's off the same plant as that last dry nug I posted. way denser now though and probably a quarter ounce right there. stoked to see how much better it is 2 weeks later. think it's almost time to start pulling those. the little nug on the right is a small piece of lavender/satori I'm psyched to smoke cause I have gotten to smoke any yet and havent smoked lavender in YEARS.

Horribly. tastes like lawn clippings and feels like TNT in the lungs.
Still do it every year though cause it seems to get me just as baked even though it's insanely unpleasant. If I don't have something to smoke I will go crazy though so I gotta do what I gotta do. lol. in a couple a days I'll be puffing on fire Jack Herer so I just gotta keep my eyes on the prize!

Just a word of advice you can try....next time you want to quick dry a bud, and I totally understand, I do it sometimes too, try using your microwave. Put it in for 10 seconds, let it sit for 20-30 seconds, repeat 3-4 times and you'll have a descent tasting quicky. It doesn't hurt the potentcy and of course it doesn't taste great by any means, but better than than baking it imo. Your plants finished very nicely there young man, your J ack looks very similar to my Jack x Trainwreck, and I had a couple seeds of hash plant that I bought from one of those cheap seed co. and it looks just like yours. I actually smoked some of it today that had a good 10 days of dry time on it, and it's very sweet,sweet tasting smoke, and very smooth for a hash plant. Great job on the saving what you could, sometimes you just gotta do all you can do. I hope your doggie is doing good. Happy Harvest!! PEACE!

yeah ive been smoking some semi moist, harsh nugs in my bubbler and its hard to get a cherry going and the smoke is harshhh wooo weeee haha

Yeah, I don't smoke out of the oven cause its awesome or anything. just cause I have no way of leaving the house right now and dont give a fuck what it tastes like. the way a microwave works doesnt seems like the best way to dry it? wouldnt it get way to hot? i just put the oven on like 200 with the door open for 10 min and then let it sit out and smoke on it.
Doesn't matter though I smoked all that and not taking any more to do that since the jack and hashplant is almost dry. these last few weeks stuck here with the dog and the plants are the least weed I've smoked in years. crazy seeing as how I have to stare at that bud all day!
The Jack might not be pure because I gave my neighbor a pure cuting last year and he had a clone this summer his wife gave me after he passed, I think it might of just been a seedling he made last year so it could be a cross. it grew like a clone though so who knows. don't have any way to find out now, same thing goes for the hash plant. either way though I'm really happy I was able to grow his plants out for him.
