First I will give you what I have then, I will give you what my current issues are.

2) First time ever using flood and drain system. I started with 20 clones dated 5/2 a few different flavors OG Kush, Purple Kush, Cheese, Sour Diesel, and NY Diesel. I have lost two or three plants over the past month. I figured no big deal the rest are doing well. From last night at 8pm till tonight 5/16 at 6pm I lost 4 of my strongest plants they wilted up and shrunk. Most were about 14”-18” tall and showing a new level of leaves every few days. If I wantedto I could of forced into flower and hard a nice little crop. Nothing from day tot day had changed. The high temp in the greenhouse was 86 degrees not to high. I checked the PH level it was at 7.0 a little high but nothing that would cause this. I did change the length of the flood time from 20 mins to 30 mins every 3 hours.
Does anyone have any ideas, thoughts, questions, anything????? My plants in my grow room in 3 gallon soil buckets are growing well like weeds…..

Flood for 15min. 4-5x per day.

What is your rez. temp? You need a rez chiller!!!!!

I have a problem, my plants (Short Riders) are stretching and not producing leaves they just get taller and taller but not wider. I recently transplanted them to their permanent pots the perked up right after but then just started getting taller. I have had to raise the lights 3 times in the last 2 days on 2 of them. Is this normal, if not what can I do about it.

ok I thought that I might have a mg issue so I added 1 tsp of calmag per gallon yesterday and now it seem like the plant is getting worse. How do you guys think I can solve this issue.

I always water with RO water with ph 6.0-6.2. I tested the soil ph today and it is 7.2.

hi this is my set up

6x duel cool tubes (2 600w bulbs per cool tube)
3x rvk L2 fans 950m3
1x rvk 1000m3
1x acustic box fan 1500m3
1x air conditoner
1x 24 pot iws flood and drain system
1x unis co2 control and full set up
4x pedistal ocilating fans
1x fan speed controler with thermostat
1x carbon filter


i have the cool tubes set up so they draw air from a walk in closet
with the 3 rvk L2 pulling air over the bulbs

the 1500m3 fan pushing air in to the room
the 1000m3 rvk fan pull air out of the room threw the carbon filter and the air conditier with the exhust going out of the room
the ocilating fans are all ceiling mounted

the thing is i cant keep the heat down its get to 33/95

any ideas what iv got wrong

I envy you the equipment, but the fans should be tha same... The heat is due to over or under pressure so you dont get to pump out hot air....

i have noticed the maylar sucking up on the floor which fans need to be the same

Ok I know it's near on impossible to tell me an exact answer but this is my first grow and I'm just a little unsure if these plants are ready for havest. I know there not quite ready but do u think it will be days or weeks before there done. The buds are from a auto White Russian and an auto ak47. There both around 9 weeks old now.







the trichs are looking good and are nearly all half clear to Amber. And most of the pistols have turned brown.

Any help or advice will be most greatful.

At least this is a problem that have been described several times in the forum, and its most of the time the in/out fans not being the same that does it

i do have a spare 1500m3 fan so if i put that on my carban filter i should in theroy solve my problem

think what im gonna do is switch my outtake fan to a 1500m3 acustic fan and put my spare air con in my closet and if that dont work im just gonna give up or try and drop it to 8x 600watts instead of 12x 600watts

My plant is looking dead. Like forming buds and leafs are all dry and crunchy. What to do ? Just feed water and some mg
bloom enhance ? Or water n drops of superthvr? Help!

if i keep my temp consistently at 85 degrees F and humidity at 20-30 is this okay? im growing uder a 400whps 4 auto short riders and a few random bagseeds

do u know anything bout the cfm of air intake n could u explain please

When should I start adding nutes to my autoflower? It's my first time growing autoflowers so any info helps. I got 4 short riders goin in FFOF soil under a 400w hps. They've been goin for 2 weeks and 1 day today. When should I start adding nutes and what kind? I was thinking like Foxfarm bloom whatever since im using FF soil. Ive heard I should wait 2 weeks so like starting now but others have said like a month and idk what do you think?

Newbie here have a question about growing in soil-less medium. I am using the Roots Organics hydroponic medium and have a 2x4 ebb and flow system. I just have a few starts right now and have not started transplanting them into this medium. It is my first time using this soil-less mix with a hydro set up. Any good tips out there on using this stuff. I have read about people using the hydroton in conjunction with the medium. Anybody tried this?

CFM, means Cubic Feet per minute...which is the amount of air the fan is able to move in a minute...so for example you have a 4x4x6 space, that equals 96 cubic feet...so if you have a 100 cfm intake fan and a 100 cfm exhaust fan(although i would recommend a stronger exhaust to create a little bit of negative pressure) you would be exchanging the air in the entire space, a little over once a minute...
