Who Took The "Head" out of "Headshop"?

Went to visit the two headshops nearest me tonight, and man, I know it's been a minute since I've been to one, but damn...Where are the Bob Marley posters? Psychadelicly colored mushrooms and blacklights with fuzzy posters? And my God, there wasn't a single image of the classic pot leaf anywhere!!! Should I be happy they still burn incense? Not even a copy of High Times to be had!

I know what you mean!! They closed down most of the nice ones around here. The closest one to me has a decent selection of smoking utensils, a HUGE selection of lingerie
and toys, and not much else..
Heres to hoping they bring back the good stuff!!

At least yours have lingerie and toys, hell we don't even get that - like maybe three sorry lookin t-shirts to choose from.

How can they call that a head shop?
It sounds like they have a better selection at the gas stations around here.

they closed down a bunch near me because they said it attracted kids with looney toons character pipes and stuff but they used to card when u come in anyways. So how could a child get in. Plus i like looney toons characters, they are awesome and i would love a pipe or bong of one. And most kids these days probably dont know what the looney toons were. Its all bullshit.

you also aren't allowed to call their wares "bowls" or "bongs"
they are "spoon pipes" or "water pipes"

pot-leaf symbols would indicate that the proprietors were knowingly selling paraphernalia intended for the consumption of illegal substances.

whatever... most of the people running/working those places these days are dicks.
except for one shop, guy makes it a point to throw in a free pillow case if you buy glass.
and since most glass costs $$$ these days it really helps
only place i go back to now

That makes sense I guess. But it still SUCKS. Took all the fun out of it - think I'll just order shit on-line.

usually a better selection on line anyways... but then you miss out on the local glass artists.

all of the head shops where i live sell all that shit, and i was talking to the dude that worked there, about going to a concert and how should i smoke my "high-grade tobacco" and he just plainly said, bro roll a joint so i don't know. then again i live near a college campus so people really don't give a shit. i love smoking on my porch when no one cares, but during the day i use a difuser to take out the smell, and at night nothing
