These people are simply tired of the US gov't stealing their money and giving it to people who are either too stupid or too lazy to get a job. I think it's as simple as that.

Democrat politicians regularly buy votes by promising extended or new social programs (i.e. giving people money for no good reason). Without being able to give people money (my hard-earned money in particular), they have nothing substantive to offer.

So, thinking people (excluding you) are really pissed to see the gov't steal their money and give it to someone else.

I have to take a drug test regularly to keep my job, but welfare recipients can be on heroin and cocaine and still the government gives them my money. And yours, if you care.

Better to have tried to do something ambitious and fail, than to just give up and marry a hefty Hebrew with a checking account and never do anything difficult enough to fail at, except maybe trying to find the wet spot. Next time try throwing a hand full of flour.
