7/10 seeds have sprouted within first 4 days (2 have mini leaves already, the other 5 are still beginning to sprout/corkscrew out of the rockwool). One grew upside down... had the roots out of the rockwool and the seedling was pushing down into the rockwool. I carefully removed the seedling from the rockwool and flipped him.. gently positioning the roots into the rockwool and pressing gently around it to support the seedling upright. Smart move? Or should I have let it try to out-grow the awkward positioning?
My other 3 however havnt showed any life at all however. I dug one up... out of curiousity and I found it hadnt even cracked its shell. Im unsure of the other 2.. just sure that Ive got 3 seeds in rockwool that havnt germ'd or sprout'd. Whats the longest I should wait on these 3 seeds?
Using rockwool (pre-soaked in 5.5 ph water), heat mat (with thermometer set at 77-80 degrees), a humidome, a spray/mist bottle, and an 85 watt CFL (4,200 lumens, 6500 Kelvin). Anything else I could add to setup to ensure success?
