Coco is my second favorite grow media and no it is not strickly for organic nutes, you can get coco specific nutes which typically have a higher calcium and magnesium than your standard hydro base nutes, but then you can use your standard hydro base nutes and have to just supp-in some calmag to make up for it

It can be used with any nutes but I can't speak on the quality of it as opposed to any other coco because I haven't used it. Anyone else wanna chime in on this?

Definately use CalMag if your using RO....even if your not feeding and just watering, the water will still need Calmag with RO....RO water has all the hardness stripped out, hardness = calcium carbonate, plus Coco tends to "draw out" the calcium from the solution so the roots don't get what they want and then they nute lock

Change of plan. Using canna organics instead. Shudda listened to jorge cerventez to begin with. Organic are the safest and best for you. I think ill try this route with your guys help.

Thanks. There is much to learn. I agree. Been going crazy researching and trying to plan my grow. I won't call my log flawless either. How about "my first grow". Ill name it flawless if I ever get there. Thanks for all the help all of you. You guys rock

None of these dingle berries cure there buds after they dry them, if they even dry them all the way. So I decided to grow own.

Awe @rob333 you're a lil late to the party. We tore him a new one and now he has done a 180 and he's good now. Yes he started things off a bit crazy and arrogant but now he is open to learn the ways of our beloved plant. Give him a break, we were all noobs once...

I'm not going to endorse anyone's products as one being the better than the other, but I will say that I use General Hydroponics CaliMagic and I am very happy with it, I have it dialed in to know exactly how much to add to give me my 300ppm.
