God, you guys are so willing to post anything just to make you seem better than another person... my post explained why i said that. When you have EXPERIENCE with some sort of local or fed enforcement with a medical card involved then come talk from experience. All your doing is running your mouth with no experience or knowledge of what really goes on. Makes you sound dumb.
I'm CA med compliant. I own a card. My mouth says things, and stuffs that are interesting and awesome.
If you don't care about dreams, maybe dreams don't matter that much.
Beware. If you don't want your babies to grow up to be punk rockers, just like me.

do they go house to house making certain you are compliant?
You are a typical blonde, aren't you?

They don't go from house to house now checking to see if you have any in illegal states. That isn't the point, or a relevant statement in any sense.

The state limit, if 2.5oz, is clearly absurd as far as limits go. I got more than that off of a plat that was chopped down with a lawn mower a couple weeks before flowering time.

I would imagine you could get close to 2.5 oz off of an indoor grow with a couple CFL bulbs, on one plant. The limit is absurd and basically ensures that even though there is technically MMJ in the state, you can't grow enough of it to make it worth having if you are determined to stay legal.

Technically weed isn't illegal now, you just need the stamp. In order to get the stamp, you take your weed into whatever government building that issues the stamp, and they will give you the stamp. The only problem with this is that it is highly illegal to possess it without a stamp, and there is no exemption for not having the stamp while you are on your way with your weed to get the stamp, so if you tried this you would be arrested carrying your stash into the stamp issuing agency.

This 2.5oz limit state is not doing much better.

Obama says marijuana ‘no more dangerous than alcohol’

Posted by
CNN White House Producer Kevin Liptak Washington (CNN) – Marijuana, which is still placed in the same category as heroin, ecstasy and psychedelic mushrooms by the federal government, is no more dangerous than alcohol, President Barack Obama said in an interview published Sunday.
Speaking to New Yorker editor David Remnick, Obama said he still viewed pot smoking negatively – but that on the whole, the drug wasn’t the social ill that it’s been viewed as in the past.

“As has been well documented, I smoked pot as a kid, and I view it as a bad habit and a vice, not very different from the cigarettes that I smoked as a young person up through a big chunk of my adult life. I don’t think it is more dangerous than alcohol,” Obama told the weekly magazine.
The president said pot was actually less dangerous that alcohol “in terms of its impact on the individual consumer.”
“It’s not something I encourage, and I’ve told my daughters I think it’s a bad idea, a waste of time, not very healthy,” he said.
Two states, Colorado and Washington, have legalized recreational marijuana use. Another 18, along with the District of Columbia, allow some legal pot use, primarily for medicinal purposes. But when it comes to federal law, marijuana remains a schedule 1 controlled substance - a drug with high potential for abuse but no accepted medical use - and the White House has said that Obama doesn’t support changing that status.
Instead, Obama said in the New Yorker interview that he’s focused on making laws that treat users fairly.
“We should not be locking up kids or individual users for long stretches of jail time when some of the folks who are writing those laws have probably done the same thing,” he told Remnick.
In August, Obama’s Justice Department announced it would not challenge legalization in Colorado and Washington, and instead focus federal enforcement on trafficking cases and preventing pot from getting in the hands of kids. Prosecutors are now required to focus on distinct enforcement priorities that also include preventing driving while high and forbidding the cultivation of marijuana on public lands.
In the New Yorker, Obama said Colorado and Washington’s laws were “important” since they decriminalized a commonly used substance. But he also said the laws could raise questions for other illegal substances.
“If marijuana is fully legalized and at some point folks say, Well, we can come up with a negotiated dose of cocaine that we can show is not any more harmful than vodka, are we open to that?” Obama wondered. “If somebody says, We’ve got a finely calibrated dose of meth, it isn’t going to kill you or rot your teeth, are we O.K. with that?”

he also stated it to be a "bad habit" similar to smoking and i disagree..smoking locks you into a nicotine addiction that kills the user while marijuana does not therefore it is incorrectly labled "scheduled
drug"..with no addictive properties how can this be?

I think you went off on a tangent there...

So the jackbooted nimrods aren't walking through neighborhoods and going door to door just to see. They need a tip first, and even then, they go the house that was tipped off and don't go to every house in the neighborhood.

scheduling a drug does not require it be addictive, in fact many scheduled drugs are non-addictive, like arsenic, anti-biotics, things like psuedo ephedrine which by itself is innocuous, but can be used to make meth, and a shitload of other substances which are controlled for hazards other than addiction.

dope is incorrectly scheduled because it is a harmless plant which has many uses, and few social harms.

Under most conditions a "tip" is insufficient for a warrant. Without a warrant you don't even have to open the door, and I wouldn't.

Even still, what you described isn't "going house to house" in search of contraband. It is following up on a tip, far from the random scenario you present.

Marijuana is in fact addictive, though it does not generate the sever physical dependence like heroin or cocaine would, that isn't addiction, though it is commonly misunderstood to be. You can have physical dependence, and no addiction, or addiction without physical dependence.

Those who are experts in the field all agree that marijuana is addictive, a sever, life crushing addiction, no. But it is addictive.

An example, Ricky Williams, running back for the Miami dolphins. Ended his NFL career so he could stay home and smoke pot. If that isn't the decision of an addict, I don't know what is.

The difference is that nicotine, alcohol, and opium, are physically addicting and create a physical dependence with real painfull withdrawl symptons, while cannabis can be psychologically additictive, it does not create a physical dependence.

prove it yourself
you cannot prove a negative.

claiming that dope is "psychologically addictive" is a positive assertion which COULD be proved if it were true, but it aint.

when deprived of addictive substances like caffeine, nicotine, alcohol, opiates, amphetamines, khat, etc etc etc, the user suffers serious physical symptoms.

when deprived of weed, stoners only suffer from facing reality without being stoned.

In this instance, the experts in the field first had to pass a correctness test, a shibboleth. The question is begged.
