New Evidence in Michael Brown Case

all these leaks seem a little one sided no? But that probably doesn't matter either lol.
Probably well orchestrated by the local KKK. Can't wait for a few years down the road when it comes out in a undercover sting report that most of the police including the chief were all members. It's already happened.

kinda like how police chief thomas jackson said he was forced to release the irrelevant video from before the shooting due to open records requests, only to later find out that no one requested said video?

yeah, kinda hard to trust that guy after something like that.

how does that cast any doubt on the four eyewitness statements about what he was doing when he was shot?

Your question is a valid legal one.

It might be defeated by independent cross examination of the witnesses by raising doubt on their honesty or motives. It is apparent the cops in that place are not well respected, so bystanders may have a bias. IF I were defending the cop, (I can't imagine ever doing that ) I'd research the witnesses and break them down.

How much weight each kind of evidence is awarded and how much each piece of " evidence" contradicts another is always part of the show.

Until then...

According to what we have learned watching the Trailer Park Boys, crying "shitwolf" can happen.
In other words, we believe that a person that has shit on a floor once is more likely to do it again.

I believe a thug is more likely to attack somebody than a person with no history of thuggery. Which is kind of an indictment of both the dead thug and the cop who is a mercenary thug by definition. Like I said earlier I have an admitted double bias.

It's possible the witnesses are telling the truth, it's possible they are "misremembering". I don't know what happened at the shooting scene.

Do you feel that the people demonstrating in Ferguson have picked a good martyr ?

On Monday, St. Louis County's former police chief, Tim Fitch, told local radio station KMOX that it is "probably very unlikely" that the grand jury will indict Wilson and the leaks are a calculated effort "to start getting some of the facts out there to kind of let people down slowly."
A former federal law enforcement official said something similar.
"It could be really for, in part, a beneficial purpose, to start leading those community leaders and those leading the protests to believe that there won't be an indictment," said Ron Hosko, former assistant director of the FBI Criminal Division.

When police unions have fought and won immunity for active duty police officers in the majority of circumstances of course a grand jury isn't going to convict. By the word of law they can't.

So they are making this dead young man look horrible in the media after they gunned him down, that's not going to calm any community. I doubt it will dissuade folks from rioting they have seen this cat and mouse dance too many times before.

This shit keeps going on and the panthers will be back, then police will really have a problem.

I confess I'm not the best source of information on this event, but didn't the guy that got shot by the cop have a few issues with paying for things at convenience stores? He didn't seem to be doing a good job of monitoring his own "public relations" very well when he was alive.

I'm not trying to be a jerk but does stealing warrant an extra judicial execution by someone that swore to uphold the law? No it doesn't and when people dismiss the law and have the attitude that it's OK kill because it was some black thief it only emboldens the cops to continue their oppressive and often illegal activities.

No stealing does not warrant a death sentence. I think the only way to MORALLY justify killing is in self defense when you are in real and present danger of somebody killing you.

I dismiss bad laws all the time. It's a habit I'll continue and encourage others to join me in.

Cops are mostly thugs with no clue what a real crime is or isn't. They enforce victimless "crimes" for a paycheck, which is an indictment of them to me anyway. My point is if you act like a thug, sooner or later another thug will probably fuck you up. I don't know what happened, but I have a bias against thugs, black, white or in a police costume. I suspect if the guy that got shot didn't get shot he wouldn't be out helping old ladies cross the street safely.

IMHO, the cop by job description is a thug too, as a major part of his job is law enforcement whether the law makes sense or not....hence he's a low i.q. mercenary with legal power to initiate violence and probably a bad haircut.
