Not when you are talking about a liquid solution that already has the nutrient isolated. But does absorption/availability/response differ between sources?

oh so you live in the synthetic salt bubble too...Not when you are talking about a liquid solution that already has the nutrient isolated.
^ "You are comparing an additive to Bloom and CalMag? Do you use only Terpinator in your grow? I literally listed Bloom, CalMag, and Molasses." Nope, Not the point I was trying to make. I was saying its probably going to cost him more to switch over to what you use, instead of picking up a bottle of terpinator. When the plant absorbs it, Calcium is calcium.
What are we getting out of it? Protein. The source is irrelevant.
You are comparing an additive to Bloom and CalMag? Do you use only Terpinator in your grow? I literally listed Bloom, CalMag, and Molasses.
We are discussing effectiveness, not safety. And again, what does PBP have to do with an additive like Terpinator? How do you compare a Bloom nutrient with an additive?
We are discussing effectiveness, not safety. And again, what does PBP have to do with an additive like Terpinator? How do you compare a Bloom nutrient with an additive? But you listed a few things. Whats going to cost him more adding a 1 liter bottle even a 1 gallon bottle of Terpinator to whatever he already has, or buying a 1 gallon jug of each of the few things you use.
There are only so many nutrients a plant uses. You can put a quartz pebble in your solution and call it a proprietary blend. When it's all said and done, the plant only uses what the plant uses.
And there is no such thing as "Dialed-In" when it comes to out-of-the-bottle nutrients. All strains feed differently and require different amounts of different nutrients. Otherwise there would only be one mix for everything.
I already have. Then suggest these other means so the OP can decide what he wants to do, and it better be something that improves smell and everything else that Terpinator does as one product and cost less as well and be a safe product. Its got to be something that really shows results and I would appreciate if you link some pic's as well. Please enlighten us all and get on with it already. Please provide us with something useful instead of griping about what others are suggesting as they attempt to be helpful. Preferably a product you have actually used.

I was going to let this thread keep going, but people are actually thinking of buying stuff now, so I'll step in.
If your strain doesn't naturally produce a lot of resin, it doesn't matter what supplement you use or how much it costs... you aren't getting buds that look like a High Times cover.
I use three things... PBP, CalMag, and molasses. That's it. And I use CFLs.

Stop buying into marketing campaigns and snake oil salesmen. Most of these supplements are $70 bottles of Potassium.
Get yourself a good pheno. Yes, it might take you 20 seeds and 2 grows to find your perfect cut. Guess what? That's growing.
Get a good strain with good genetics... learn to grow it properly... and you will get much better results than buying Terpinator or any other bottle of "I Wish" formulas.
So we are discussing effectiveness, not safety. Then why did you go out of your way to post that bit about arsenic? When the plant absorbs it, Calcium is calcium.

I'm getting REALLY fucking tired of people's Know-It-All Bullshit on this forum, and I've been here less than a month.
You want to know what's in your precious Terpinator?

Soluble Potash.
Oh and let's not forget the Arsenic, Selenium, Lead, and a whole bunch of other stuff.
I've tried to stay reeeeeal neutral since I've been on here... but I am about fed-the-fuck-up with kids that think they know everything because they've bought a $70 bottle of go-go juice.
Do your damn research before calling someone out.
Edit: Here's the analysis they had to submit... http://agr.wa.gov/PestFert/Fertilizers/FertDB/prodinfo.aspx?pname=7160
Now stop talking out your ass.
Botanicare PBP, CalMag, and Molasses in Happy Frog are just about as far from the "synthetic salt bubble" as you can get without making your own teas.oh so you live in the synthetic salt bubble too...
Because people were talking about secret ingredients and acting like it was pure gold in a bottle. So we are discussing effectiveness, not safety. Then why did you go out of your way to post that bit about arsenic?
^ Bump, go back and look at the edits I made for that post, and get back to me.^ "You are comparing an additive to Bloom and CalMag? Do you use only Terpinator in your grow? ^BumpWhere is the data sheet showing how safe PBP, CalMag, and molasses are. Just out of curiosity.
Can you provide us with any science that explains these products better to us, why those products will give his crops dank loud smell. If we are supposed to listen to you please enlighten us a bit more, especially for the OP who actually wanted to know.
Maybe we are talking about effectiveness and not cost, while we are at it. I can flip flop too. Maybe yours cost more maybe Terp cost more, who knows which is safer. Provide us some more info so the OP can decide. When the plant absorbs it, Calcium is calcium.

Honestly that sounds excellent to me, really won't kill to try it at the cost of $20. Someone with logic, who is willing to give it a try. Thank You. That is what this thread needs is more people willing to give it a try. Get more better informed and honest opinions from people actually using it.Nothing but GH micro and bloom for these last run. BUT, if I can somehow bring out a tad bit of more smell that would be nice. But I'm always skeptical but I don't mind trying something new, if it ddoesn't work the extra 20$ won't kill me I'll probably try it, and I'm an honest dude, so I'll let ya know my opinion after I flower this batch. And I will agree that 98% of products are straight bs, but no one knows until they give it a shot
Run 1/2 and 1/2... would be awesome to see the grow unfold Just be sure to supplement the extra 4% potassium in the Terpinator in your control crop to keep the nutrient levels the sameNothing but GH micro and bloom for these last run. What are you, 12? You are like the kid at recess "Nuh uh! You said it was $70! It's really $59.85 plus shipping! Nyanyah!"Also, Terpinator is listed on Monster Gardens as $59.85 for a 4L jug. Seeing how its being sold in increments by the Liter where did you find it in a gallon size for $70 ?
More like the man trying to stick with the facts, and call bs on you. Not everyone has to pay shipping some of us live close enough to walk in the store. Whats shipping going to be for three gallon sized jugs of the stuff you suggested. We all pay shipping on anything we buy online. Shipping shouldn't be tacked onto the product like that. That's like saying that the value of your car goes up because you had to pay for it and the shipping to have it delivered to your house. If I buy a car for $100 and it cost me $500 to have it shipped to me. Would I own a $600 car? (gasp) Who would have ever thought to buy local. What are you, 12? You are like the kid at recess "Nuh uh! If you walk to the store you are most likely paying sales tax. Same damn thing. Stick with the facts? Now I know I'm talking to someone with the mentality of a 12 year old. They give deals in the store too. I guess you don't shop their. More ignorant statements about things you are not informed about. Stop talking out your ass. And alpha: you can buy it in a powder just like the rest of your nutes. I don't run hydro, so will leave that info to someone else... but if you like powders, it's always available.
