What I've always found amusing is how folks think that pushing their plants during flowering with more and more light somehow equates to more production. That is exactly when MJ receives the least in 90% of the world's indigenous cannabis growing countries.

It is kinda ironic, seeing how to an extent darkness is what promotes flower production >D N the fact that heat / light degrades cannabinoids...But then again if your plant is truly utilizing all tht extra energy then theoretically it would have to produce better results right? I have a hunch a lot of energy gets wasted in most grow rooms tho (mine included)...

Well, don't shoot me for being sincere, but it is easy to experiment on these finer points. No one else has done it, so the field is wide open. We can be the peer review. It just needs to follow the method, of ruling out, and needs control subjects, some measurement, and strict variable maintenance.

But, I can throw in a few facts.

Solar Max at sea level is about 10K lumens.
@14K feet altitude is about 18K lumens.

So, the plant had been adapting for a long time before we got here. It has been thru periods of higher CO2. It knows what to do to save itself from sun poison. It is so hardy, even I can grow it.
