So one last for the class, Israel has never tested or shown a Nuclear Bomb, they can`t, or it`ll get traced back and..........Israel will not and should not be a player. Iran should not be that addition we all want to our happy Nuclear Nations homes.

Problem,...They just happen to be a very good fuel for generators, and everyone needs those....

The republican party in this country is owned and operated by the biggest donors- who happen to own the biggest and most profitable corporations. These include pharmaceuticals, energy and DEFENSE.

They won't want peace, they'll want excuses to continue America's endless war strategy so the above industries can continue suckling at the taxpayer teat.

Conspiracy? Nah, they don't bother to hide it, because they have more money than the other 95% of Americans put together- and our treasonous SCOTUS has read their George Orwell carefully;

MONEY = 'FREE' SPEECH!

BWAHAHAHA! WHAT UTTER INSANE BULLSHIT!
I'm a little late replying and I agree 100% with what you say here. However, substitute today's Democratic party for Republican party in the first line of your statement and you are still 100% correct. Other than lip service to social issues (gay rights, women's issues, etc. ) the 2 parties are identical, bought and paid for. It's what you DO, not what you SAY that counts. Citizens United (Money = speech) will turn out to be the worst SC decision in history if it's not already.

When I was born, Truman was president. I'm old enough to remember Eisenhower (R) quite well, who was far, far more "liberal" than Obama ever dreams about. Check out his MIC warning in his speech to the RNC during his 1956 re-election campaign. For that matter, Nixon (R) (started the EPA, visited China) and even the hallowed Reagan (R) (raised taxes on the wealthy) are to the left of Obama. Fact is, BOTH parties have moved so far to the right it's fucking ridiculous. But that's what their corporate overlords want. Congress, Obama, are very good at doing the work of their corporate masters. They do nothing for you and me. They all fit into J.P. Morgans definition of an honest politician. "Once a politician is bought and paid for, they remain loyal to those that bought them." or something to that effect.

I vote 3rd party, occasionally D or R in a local election, but 3rd party in the major stuff, rather than hold my nose and vote for the one that stinks less. Some say, I'm throwing away a vote, but at least I can look at myself in the mirror. I realize, we don't have a democracy in the US anymore, (if we ever truly did), but I'll still play the voting game as long as I'm able.

As far as the original topic of this post goes, whether or not the 47 republican senators committed treason or not, is moot. Nothing will ever come of this, as nothing ever does. It's just another distraction and/or piece of propaganda our corporate overlords have instructed their corporate controlled media to hype. "Divide and conquer", it's the oldest trick in the book.

Other than that, baseball's back on TV!! Yippee.

I own a copy of President Eisenhower's farewell speech on DVD, and I refer to it regularly.

Citizens United is certainly the most ANTI-democratic ruling the Supreme Court has ever made- and in fact it's unconstitutional in itself because they went far beyond the scope of the case before them at the time- something they may NOT do under the very same articles of the constitution.

Oh, and they`re "Green", as long as you don`t break `em !i
No, nuclear reactors are in no way 'green' because green means sustainable and/or renewable.

Natural gas- even when extracted from the ground via fracking- is greener than nuclear.

Everyone knows Blue is more Green than Yellow...

I`m not so sure being able to last a thousand years could be considered sustainable. But I sure know that not having to be renewed trumps having to be renewable.

Well, no it doesn't. The reason natural gas it's green is because of how it could be converted into electricity; using fuel cells, the exhaust is just water vapor and CO². These are both usable in a greenhouse, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Further, natural gas is exactly that; natural, as in methane, the same gas coming from swamps, animal waste and biodigesters. This means that anytime the user desires, they CAN close the biological loop and suddenly it's as green and renewable as it gets!

How many emissions from the Nuclear generator, or building in total ? None as in Zero.
Is thermonuclear waste recyclable ? Yes, as in it wasn`t before.

Spitting water vapor and C02 into the sky by all households and businesses,...is about as Green as White. Water vapor is the most destructive greenhouse gas, with C02 being a close second.

Safety concerns, Thermonuclear is as safe and as dangerous as you can get. But so is Freedom...

No, I did not. I used a term that describes mixed race
an antiquated, disparaging and offensive term that is well known as a racial slur and has been for half a century or so now.

Interesting though that some racist people follow your pattern. They think if "he's got one drop o' N blood in 'em then he's a N. Which is quite racist of people to do that. I 'm sure your doing it is just a coincidence though. .....You've consistently referred to Obama as "black". When in fact he's of mixed race.
i refer to obama as black because he self-identifies as black. he looks black, he was treated as black growing up, and refers to himself as black.

http://www.nytimes.com/2010/04/03/us/politics/03census.html?_r=0

but you can keep referring to him by racial slurs and wonder why everyone knows you to be a racist.

Is it possible that some people don't like Obama due to the way he is and not his mixed race, which many people often erroneously consider as "black" ? It would seem that there must be at least some people, what do you think..is it possible?
what do you mean? "the way he is"..which is, what exactly?

No, I mean that the POTUS is a total and completely naive and extremely gullible waif who is in so far over his head that history will not treat him kindly.
Only time will tell with any degree of certainty, as you said, we will wait and see how this unfolds.
Regardless of the quantity of melanin in his epidermis.
"they" said the same of Lincoln..and how did that turn out for "them"?

Oddball knows so little about this he's not even good at trolling it.

How in the Fuck is nuclear waste that will never be made safe in any way green or renewable??
France has been recycling nuclear waste for a long time. It's not a complete solution but it's better than us, much better than us.

It's called nuclear reprosessing. here's a wiki
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_reprocessing

It's banned here because... hell I don't know, why is it banned here?

We have been so scared of nuclear power that we have let the technology pass us by. Instead of being at the forefront of R & D and advancement we've decided to restrict it to what we had 40 years ago. We could be doing so much better, but then the bombs that inevitably come along with it would be pretty special too.

Still, I don't get why we can't do what France is doing safely.

Just looked it up, we approved the first new plant in the US in 30 years. That's means we are too chicken to open new plants, but too dumb to realize this means every plant we have that is operating is over 30 years old, which is really what's scary. Old shit breaks down.

58 nuclear plants in France. A country smaller in size than Texas.

We don't do it because breeder reactors make so much more fissile material that it's impossible to live up to treaties we've signed to reduce nuclear weapons.

In addition, never get the idea that reprocessing reduces the amount of radioactivity or total tonnage of highly radioactive waste products.

It's horrible for living things, forever.

By comparison, fracking is pure as the driven snow.
