300w more than you would be using with HID.... A 600w hps is borderline too much light for a 3x3...
There seem to be a lot of people who only use about 300w to light a 3x3.... how are vipars worth anyones time?

Think we are all wasting our time on a lost cause with him. 900w and 10 oz hopes are miniscule. Got the results he hopes for using 900w using 190w, showed him my pics and still he's talking about vipar being a feasible option. Shit I could pull those yields with a 400w hps all day too. Obviously he doesn't understand and isn't willing to listen and learn about efficiency. Oh well. His waste of time money and all other resources. LOL

MATE! I am at week 1 of flowering in a 2x2 scrog with 4x OG Kush...
I will have pics to show that all this Viper hating is complete BS.
I will be showing what a 900 watt LED will do to a scrog in a 2x2 and Im going to put this BS to rest.
My goal is simply to get 10-14oz
Last Vipar grow with a 600 watt and one single Northern Light Autoflower yeilded 8oz+
Maybe the issue is that the Chinese Vipars that are in Australia are different to the ones that are in the USA?? No idea
I have had good results so far but this time I am documenting it.
Also I will show the Platinum HydroStar40 which is a 4 plant drip system from france.
Most of the shit talkers on any of these brands will tell you that MARS 2, Vipar and any low prices LEDS "Suck" but they never back up the claiim with anything, and then they always go back to: "My HPS gets much better results"
Not everyone can use HPS
For Stealth apartment grows or home grows where exhausting heat and odor is not a viable option, or anyone who has police helicopers around... LED is not only the best option , it is the only option.
If I followed these LED haters advice, I would be in handcuffs in a month.
Im not going to pay $1200 for a 300 watt name brand LED that was built in China and rebranded in the USA to be sold at 3x the price.
IF I CAN GET A QUARTER POUND OFF ONE SEED WITH A 600 watt Vipar... Thats cool with me...HATERS GONNA HATE

So what wattage Kind LED is that and how much does it cost?
Vipar are Budget Leds that get me great resultsa
KIND LED are high end, high price, of course they would be more effective. I am saying that as far as Budget LEDs go Vipars are paying off many times over in just a grow or two.
In the interest of peace: here is a digital joint bro... your leds are sick...I am just saying... lets see what a 900 watt Vipar gets on this grow and then we can continue this conversation.
My argument is that as far as budget panels go the Vipars we get here in Australia are coming from a quality source... perhaps the ones that are un the UK or USA are simply different factories...
Time will tell but for now Im happy to pass the joint to Indica and see how we go on this SCROG 900 Watt.

Why are there so many assholes on here who can't admit that something someone else is doing is good regardless of how much better there own grow is going. You can grow better, we get it. I bought my 900 watt for the equivalent of $250 bucks USD in an online auction... 600 watt was originally $350 but they have dropped down to $199 which to me is a no brainer.
How much does a 900 or 1000 watt high end LED cost? last time I checked they where over $1000.00 so it just seemed silly to spend money like that...
We shall see...time will tell...

I agree with you on this post... I will have gram per watt results on this next grow in roughly 60 days. DIY LED sounds like a fun project to be fair. But for a beginner who needs a combination of stealth and budget, my claim is that Vipar is worth the money when getting into it for the first time with limited cash.
