Sorry for the mishaps bro .... it happens and to the best of us .... glad uts all taken care of for now .... youll be laughing about this soon hah .... just make sure you turn some fans on around thw room to dry the carpets and if ya have a shop vac and a dehumidifier. ... put them to work tooSon of a bitch! I somehow dislodged some of the return tubing and managed to let 10 Liters of my freshly changed water to spill out. Indoor grow - carpeted room. Ha ha, damn, fortunately I heard something as I was about to head out for the afternoon and wouldn't be back for 12 hours. A quick top up with some RO water and I raised the PPM back up with some nutrients... Could have been much worse. That said I hope the floor doesn't get too damn mouldy and smell.
This being my first hydro setup, I was bound to have a spill/leak/something at some point. No harm done to the girls.
Oh, I'm laughing about it now, Dr... Shit happens, I expected an 'aquatic event' at some point in my hydroponic adventure and I feel I got off lightly, I caught it before it became a 'catastrophic event!'Sorry for the mishaps bro .... it happens and to the best of us .... glad uts all taken care of for now .... youll be laughing about this soon hah .... just make sure you turn some fans on around thw room to dry the carpets and if ya have a shop vac and a dehumidifier. ... put them to work too
Nice! Wish i wasn't so paranoid i would defenetly try and do a small grow like urs just to try liberty haze is that the barneys?Late nutrient change and photo
I've been a bit rough, learning some LST and SCROG techniques and hacked away a bunch of the growth underneath. All in all I'm still super happy with how it's going.

Hi hellmutt, thanks! Yeah, they came from Barney's Farm seeds.Nice! Wish i wasn't so paranoid i would defenetly try and do a small grow like urs just to try liberty haze is that the barneys?
Awesome plan bro .... nothing wrong with taking it easy the first time around and just sticking whats easier. More grows to come and thus more chances to experiment.Great, thanks Dr.
So to transition I just increase the night cycle to 12? As discussed earlier I'll keep the MH in there for a while but I think I'll switch to flower nutrients, I get what you're saying about them but I'm not good enough around the plants to know what I'm doing there. Right now I've been sticking pretty close to the recommendations from the nutrient company and if I move away from them I'll feel lost.
I also took a few cuttings from the best two plants. They weren't chosen to be good clones, I really just wanted to experiment. I had trouble getting the temperate beneath the dome below 27C and subsequently all the cuttings wilted over. I've kept at it and in the last 12 hours they've started standing up and reaching for the light - all of them. I'm going to take a few more before I flip the girls as I want to try putting cuttings in rockwool, too, and see if I have the same success - well, these may still die, they're not a success yet but since they're reaching for the light right now I figure they're doing OK.
Looking beautiful brother ... keep up what youre doing youre a natural! Your girls are loving the high ppm.
I too have to do this and get an intake fan to push cold air in my tent and assist in the cooling. With both lights in and running, i doubt my extraction fan can handle it with a huge carbon filter hooked to it. Ya just got me more motivated to get off my butt and shop for it hah
No experience with these ac units but (although this maybe out of my own ignorance on the matter) I too am worried about humidity (and possible microbial overgrowth inside the AC and around the cooling components. It kinda makes sense to worry i think. Hopefully someone with experience can enlighten us all here!
