Those little microscopic bastards definitely came with those platinum gsc's from that son a bitch you got them cuts from, no doubt!
Grandpapy, are you sure you had russet mites? And all you used was sm90? Because I'm throwing everything known to help including the kitchen sink at them rite now while in veg. These things are no joke compared to other bugs.
I had to throw away a crop just under 5 weeks here recently. So i'm able to go nuclear on those fuckers in veg. The two-spotted, thrips, root aphids, etc, are like having crabs. Pretty easy to get rid of IMO. These russet mites are like aids

But I did use it on the two spotted in rotation with spinosad and azamax and green cleaner.
I went with a sealed room for 3 months got rid of the spotted but 3 weeks ago the russets showed up.

Did you switch to coco 3 weeks ago out of curiosity? Because Aero did too, 3 weeks ago. Too strange.

Those cuttings are longer than I usually take but your getting nice roots. How long those take to shoot roots?

I run plain tap water with pool shock. In summer I get roots in about 5 days, but now in winter since it's Hella cold it takes 7 days to get the roots on the clones in the pic. I'll let them stay in the cloner for another 4 days or so then transplant. This batch of cuts are actually kind of deficient from the Temps I think, they usually stay green the whole time but I'm getting some yellowing. This style cloner you can take massive cuts, like 12" tall with branches, and they still take the same time to root. Pump is on 24/7.

I use what looks like the same machine that I made. I am having trouble getting roots before 3 weeks. I run the pump @ 2hr 45min intervals with 15 min pump off. Just plain tap water 6.0ph.

My next run I am testing out some B's I was gifted from my hydro shop lass to see if that will speed things up. Could be temperature is a bit cool.. Could be genetics though I have had a few strains roll through with the same results.

Try keeping the pump on 24/7, the pump will keep the water warmer which helps the cuts to root faster. I'd suggest using pool shock to keep things sterile, as if you add bennies, and then put the cloner away until the next time you use it, bad stuff can grow in the misters and manifold. Pool shock is only 7$ for enough to last the rest of your life.
Mix 1 gram of pool shock (hth shock and swim brand, calcium hypochlorite) to 1 gallon of water, then use 30ml or 1 Oz for 5 gallons of water, or in the case of the bucket cloner, they hold about 2.5 gallons of water, so 15ml is used. Always scrape the stem before putting the cut in the cloner, if you just cut the stem and put in cloner, they'll take much longer to root because the roots have to make it through the stem, if you scrape the stem and take off the outer layer of skin, the roots will grow out of the scraped area much faster. I don't pH water, it's probably 8ph, but I should I guess, I just never had issues using Un phed tap so I still stick with it. Clones take a long time to root in colder water, I like 75-80 degree water temp

Yep a fresh bag of soiless with new coco pots. Pick them up in Berkley.
The mites showed up in the "clone closet". The tents still look good but getting treated anyway.

I've also learned my lesson if the water gets to warm and stays to warm you can get root rot. My 2 cents I run24/7 with plain tap water unph'ed. But now I can't run24/7 do to my temp conditions so I run 1/4. One minute on 4 minutes off... With frozen water bottles in my aerocloner. 10 days to root. Maybe slower than alphas but they root. Oh and I also use clonex rooting gel...

About over a year ago I was going to do a true sea of green with about 120 clones and just about all of them got root rot because i was running my clones at 24/7 with less ideal conditions. Ok I'll tr it out on a small amount of clones. With the netting what is your main purpose for it because I just ran 9 girls under my 600 without a net and some fell over. It was harvest time except the lower buds. I trimmed all the tops and letting the lower buds grow for another 2 weeks. I've never done this so I hope they develop within the next two weeks.

I've run my cloner for 5 weeks in mid summer (100f degrees outside) and the cloner water like 87. I haven't lost a clone since I've used the pool shock, but you have to use it from day 1. Alot of people think they're cloners are working fine, and use nothing to sterilize, then bam, root rot happens down the road.. Then they try to start using pool shock thinking it will fix it, but it doesn't. It needs to stay sterilized from day 1, because once root rot happens in a cloner, it's really hard to kill it and keep it gone.

I use the trellis for support, the bigger plants in the ebb buckets will have 2 trellis nets. The sog only needs one, when the buds start to lean that causes stress on the plant, so it's always good to have a trellis or support of some sort in place so it doesn't happen

Ended up contaminating 2 cloners which I had to just throw out, happened only living in CA for a few months.. since then I've been using the pool shock as a routine, it's better safe than sorry, because you will eventually get it if not using bennies or a sterile water in the cloner, could be tomorrow, could be in two years, but when it happens it's a disaster

Pythium doesn't need warm or cold water, light or darkness, to grow, it's everywhere, just waiting to establish itself. It's some nasty stuff. I used to grow sour d for years but don't have a cut anymore

I told you! That was the best nutrient I've ever used, the simplicity is excellent and the plants love it! I'd like to use some again at some point in the near future, maybe after the nutes I have now run out
