Who's rooting for Diaz and who's cheering for McGregor tonight?
Lol. Good shit. I love ufc almost as much as I love growing. Diaz is tough and is naturally heavier than Diaz but McGregor is an ox. He should pull out the win by unanimous decision.Who's rooting for Diaz and who's cheering for McGregor tonight?
Thanks,I'm just getting started and it looks like I have plenty of local customers lined up to try LED so I will just take it one step at a time,we're also working with a solar power company.Never doubted your sincerity. As mentioned I know youre an og in these parts. But thanks for notifying us that you are in business. Do you plan on selling to online customers? Im sure youll make a great light.
I watched the weigh in last night between Diaz and Connor and Diaz looks like he hasn't lifted a single weight in the past month! He's hungry though, so anything's possible.Lol. Good shit. Lol. Diaz is more of a brawler while McGregor is a technician. In my younger days as a boxer technicians always topped brawlers. But just dont get caught with that big punch or its lights out. But I dont think he can beat dos anjos. He's too versatile.I watched the weigh in last night between Diaz and Connor and Diaz looks like he hasn't lifted a single weight in the past month! What state did you box out of?Lol. Diaz is more of a brawler while McGregor is a technician. In my younger days as a boxer technicians always topped brawlers. But just dont get caught with that big punch or its lights out. But I dont think he can beat dos anjos. He's too versatile.
Ohio. Fairfax gym in Cleveland. Under Red Ruffin. But I aint been in a ring in almost 20 years. What state did you box out of?
This may be a stretch but did you ever hear of David Toledo? Believe he was from ohio.Ohio. Fairfax gym in Cleveland. Under Red Ruffin. But I aint been in a ring in almost 20 years.
Makes sense to me too. That may have been why they pulled Dos Anjos out at the last second, to prolong the McGregor legacy and to further build hype for the next UFC paid event involving Connor. It should make for a very entertaining match-up though once it takes place; champion vs. champion!
Not off the top of my head. Ohio produces a lot of good fighters. This may be a stretch but did you ever hear of David Toledo? Believe he was from ohio.
That's not what I said, my point was that saying that a DIY build will not be on par with a commercial fixture is plain BS.But im sure all diy cobs can be made for cheaper. So I guess theres no need for commercial cobs at all?
Perhaps I misinterpreted your response. Apologies. But my point is im in no position to build a light. I just dont have the time or passion to make that commitment. So my only alternative is to purchase a commercial light. But this is the reason I mentioned in the survey "excluding diy". But again my apologies if I misinterpreted or misrepresented your words. That's not what I said, my point was that saying that a DIY build will not be on par with a commercial fixture is plain BS.
There is a need for commercial cob lights, as some do not have the time, or sometimes the capability of making one. Others don't care about paying more either.
I personally would not buy a commercial unit, ever. But if I did, I would go tasty, plc, or gogreen but heavenbright wouldn't make it. I might even consider buying a HPS over heavenbright...
Have you ever built your own DIY cob fixture before? If you have, you should know that it takes practice to perfect the art of building these things; no one ever got it perfectly right the first time so to say that a DIY cob fixture would perform better than a commercial cob fixture could only be true in the case that the person building the DIY cob fixture carried established experience and knowledge and had a few builds under their belt, regardless of the parts used. Secondly, a bunch of us aren't running charities here. If you ever ran a business you'd know there are start up costs associated with such a feat, as well as annual costs - Uncle Sam wants his share, and so does PayPal. If you're worried about me getting mad-rich off my set prices, you should consider the fact that I'm offering the best $/PPF figure with my products among all other commercial VERO/CXB based fixtures. Now if you see a company publicly boasting about breaking a million dollars in gross profit, then go ahead and analyze their product(s) but you won't see me doing that anytime soon.WTF ?!?
Seriously ? For the price of one of your fixtures, just about anyone can expect to DIY a MUCH better fixture. A little time consuming, sure, maybe a little challenging at the start, but at the end, (much) better performance, and a more rewarding experience too.
EG : Your mothership, with it's close to 100W driven cobs, according to your website :
PPF: 1100~1275
Wattage : 580~605W
Price : 900$ (CXB3590)
Lets see :
2 x HLG 240H-C1750 - 200$
8 x CXB3590 3500 CD with lens and holder - 400$
2 x 56" 5.886 HSUSA profile : 215$
Some wiring and equipment at home depot : 85$
Total 900$
The DIY option is PASSIVE vs ACTIVE cooling for the same price, and most importantly, gives off close to 20% more light per watt. Or put differently, will give off a little more light, for a lower wattage, I see a tripple win for the DIY. Maybe that's just me tho
Now if you mean "not on par" performance wise, yes that's true, the DIY will beat your light by a mile.
Oh, btw, I am in no way affiliated with ANY of your competitors ...

I'm curious, when you proposed your DIY option, was that your recipe, someone else's recipe. or a recipe that you drew up just to make a point?
1) I'm building one as we speak. Yes, it does take time and knowledge, two things readily available to most people who hang out here.Have you ever built your own DIY cob fixture before? I think this will help show some results with your product.AP, Zip lips and show us about a pound under your Mothership and everyone will have a whole new respect for you
