We're now looking for jobs in a major city not dominated by narrow minded idiots like you. That's a 3 hour daily commute. There seems to be only 3 cities in this state like that. She was a Nanny for a couple in Brooklyn, highly recommended and paid very well. She also has a teaching degree which is worthless in this state because they pay teachers shit again because of Republican policies. How am I an asshole? I got up this morning and worked my ass off to produce income for myself. I didnt demand that society change or some 'rich' person make my life better, I did it on my own. I have been explaining that it is the fastest way to happiness but many members here think complaining about minimum wage is going to somehow make them wealthy.

Let's look back at the coal mines. They were the only outfit in town. They had leverage and treated people horribly. On top of which they opened stores and paid employees with store credit. Companies do that now in the way of employee discounts. They don't care about you. They want you to spend that paycheck there.
The western part of the state is so different than the east. The western part the towns cut tax deals for businesses and factories. Plenty of jobs and even the temp services had to raise wages to somewhere between $10-12 and hour.
The eastern part doesn't and the jobs are scarce and they all pay minimum wage.
Its not hard to see the reason behind it.

Wait the money in Those pockets comes from someone else's hard work. Your initial outlay and expense for the business is finite. You keep prattling on about how small business grows the economy but you vote to restrict peoples pay? Where is the benefit from your small business? You're no better than McDonalds then. Oh wait you pay your employees more but restrict others right to earn more?
