Ahhhh, ok. The repotting is making sense as to why FF brings you all the way to flower. Sweet. Hey, I just tested my water. It's 7.6. Is that too high for soilless?

Yes you want to ph the nutrient solution down to 6.3 to 6.5 for soilless mix. If you get above that you have trouble.

Hey I'm trying to calibrate it, should I not bother if it can properly read the PH of my buffer solutions? I ask cuz when I put the pen in the buffer solution it gives it a perfect reading, but then when I push the calibrate button it goes down by .2 for each solution. What does this mean? Would you know?

What kind of pen did you get mine had a adjustment screw? You just turn it on stick it in the buffer solution swish it around a little the numbers on the pen should match the buffer solution. If it don't then you have to get a little screw driver and adjust it. If it matches the buffer solution then you should be good. The problems with the pens are the reason why I use the color tester.

Woyaboy is three weeks into flower with fox farm soil and jacks classic, he had low p problems purpleing and leaves dropping off. He was using jacks citrus and I had him switch to jacks bloom to try and correct it. At three weeks into flower and having problems I'm afraid if he flushed and started using organics now it would make things worse before it got better.
What do you guys think?

I got a bloom fert. 10-30-20. PH pen must be calibrated then cuz it reads perfect in the buffer solution. Water straight out the tap is 8.6!!! 7.6 when I let it marinate for 24 hours. My Ph up/down solution never showed up today. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get it so I can flush with proper PH'd water and that bloom fert should bring me all the way home. I really appreciate you looking out for me Pecker.

Don't let the ph pen dry out. You wont need to do any of that when you switch to the super soil. Good luck.

When we use a high quality soil, and in my case with the addition of the lime, the soil becomes or is pH buffered , meaning you do not have to pH your water, the soil will do that for you

i also want to point out, that IF you set yourself up to do a water only run,, you mix your soil up, ( or use ffof right from the bag),, and then you just use tap water the whole ride,,, all the way thru flower,, BUT,, and this is important, resist the urge to ad things, to pour extra things in later,, also Resist the urge to flush,, because if you flush you wash OUT the high quality organic nutes that are in your soil from the start that you need to make it to the end, when your soil is set up properly,, you will never get nute burn, you will never get nute lock out, you will never get Salt build up (because you never put salts in),,

if your using a SIP then just fill the res with fresh tap water to the fill line,,,

Thanks for the help. Do you make your own soil at all? I've made some myself and I'm curious as to see if it's good or not. It's cooking for bout another week and it'll be ready. I worry bc I never saw any mycelium as its been cooking. It also never really got hot.

So my water is 7.6 but when I added my ferts and cal/mag it went down to 5.8. Looking at the leaves at the bottom there all yellowing bad now and shriveling up etc, I can't help but feel my intuition is telling me it's phosphorus with a lil bit of mag maybe. I forgot to test the run off but I threw the ferted 5.8 water in there. It's a 10-30-20 mix.

I'll tell you what I have some jacks bloom and calmag I'll put it in a jug of water and test it and see how far it drops. It seems like it's dropping pretty low for you. If you oxygenate your water it will have a higher ph or you could add some lime to the soil not much though. You didn't add any ph down did you?

i have yet to try making my own organics, I sure want too, but with work and other obligations, it would take the fun out of growing for me right now,, i guess I will stay with things i can purchase, but make it as organic as i can

I just tested mine, my water is 8.0 after adding 1/4 teaspoon of the jacks bloom and blossom and 1/2 teaspoon of calmag plus it put me right at 6.5. If you do what I did you should be fine. Or you could either oxygenate your water, add a little of that ph up when you get it, add a little bit of lime or hardwood ash will also raise ph. Just don't over do it with the ash, don't overdo the lime either. The only thing you should be checking with the runoff is ppms with the tds meter and that's only because of the jacks. You will still have higher ppms with soil because you're washing out the dissolved solids. I believe I mentioned checking ppms that with the bx promix you said you were going to try and I wouldn't worry about it until midway through flower unless you want to do it now. I bet after you get done fucking with this run and use the ss you wont look back. And you can save that promix to cut the super soil.

Yea, basically here's what happened. I read TOOOO much on soils and ferts and what not and wrapped myself up into information overload. I started with Moonshines Mix which was:
1 bag FFOF
1 bag FFLW
1 bag FFPS
1 cup of peace of mind starter
1 cup of peace of mind fruit n flower
6 gallons of chunky perlite
***I didn't use a full bag, I just ratio'd it out for a 3 gallon pot and used EWC instead of FFLW****
This mix was working Dandy for me all the way up till the second or so week of flowering. I top dressed with Fruit and Flower the second I flipper her to flower as well. But then I read somewhere else that this mix works if you transplant it to multiple pots. I don't know where I read that but it made me realize I may not have enough nutrients to carry me all the way so I looked into a reliable fert. I wish I had just contunied top dressing and compost tea'ing to see where that got me.
I have one more plant that is using this mix, which is my OG kush and I just flipped her to flower a few days ago. I only gave her Jacks once and so far nothing bad has happened to her color. She's growing great. I think I am just going to top dress my Kush with Fruit and Flower and Compost teas and see how far that takes me. I need to get over the fact that I might ruin my first plant. This was always within the realm of possibility, I guess I just never expected to get his far on my first run, never expected the bag seed to be female and now that I am down to my last month and a half I so I so badly would like to see a harvest. She has flowers growing and everything. In fact, it still is just the bottom of the plant that looks like shit. It's yellowing now and wilting, leaves are shriveling but not cracking, they seem wilty, not dry. I went ahead and gave her the 5.8 fert water but I will make sure I PH it up a little more when I get my stuff in the mail. Should be here my Monday, Idk how Amazon Prime could drop the ball so badly when I needed them most. Ironically my seeds from Herbies just came in, just fine! So I guess to make it easier let me reiterate my questions
1. Will my super soil mix, based off the ingredients I gave you need to be cut with pro-mix?
2. Even though I watered my Kush once with Jacks and she looks just fine, should I try top dressing with Fruit and Flower and see if that takes me all the way to flower?
3. Do I need to flush with PH'd water before I continue? Or just stay the course?
4. My SS never got "hot" while it was cooking and I never got a layer of Mycellium, is it still good? I'm positive I put all the good shit in there.
